I can't imagine doing floor 10 for more than an hour without wanting to jump out a window...
I watched some videos on youtube while I was grinding floor 10 😆. It gets boring after a while but makes it so much easier to level up your items once you reach level 15. 👍

@@Unknown1Z1 Floor 10 is my bread and butter. Gather up the Fellas and grind it for a few hours. I’ve had 9999 printer filament 3 different times and will continue until I get there.
Thanks for putting this video up. This expertise system is a painful grind. I hate to have to exploit loopholes in the game to get materials and xp. Just shows that the devs were just buying themselves time to get actual new content out the door.
Your not exploiting loopholes to gain xp or materials. Its the way the game is designed. The devs should of increased the exotic drop rate and xp gain in countdown. Its possible this might happen during the new season once they add the new countdown difficulty.

So far I just made Expertise lvl 5.
Normally I'm on summit to get the gear /guns to donate. But still use my main build to guarantee the win. Keep up the content Agent.

Great video man ! I have been doing the same method for a few months also buy guns and named pieces from vendor to donate also buy pistols and gear set pieces for receiver and armour components with gear set items they cost the same as normal pieces but give you other resources like titanium and electronics in addition to armour components!
Thanks Division Ninja. Buying items is a great way to level up your items. Only have to buy 20 items to max your proficiency levels.

LtBuzz I tried the tip from another viewer about going to settings and turning off latency. So far no crashes ... I myself got fed up with content etc. I tried other games but this game keeps pulling me back. Such a great open world with weather etc. Hang on until September for update bud. 😊👍 (PrivateRyan) PC

I know this is very late but a useful tip for floor 10 boss spawn is that you don’t have to be close to the door on the right , but if you look to the direction of the door the boss is guaranteed to spawn, and yes This has been tested

Great ideas !! I have some questions- when you buy the shared caches/shared gear does each character get an e,tra storage box at HQ? With multiple agents ,for instance a level 30 agent and a level 40 agent, is their proficiency/expertise levels shared as well? If ny level 40 agent shares ridgeways exotic to my level 30 agent via shared blueprints can the level 30 agent reconstruct a level 30 ridgeway exotic with all the expertise gained by the level 40 agent? Great information. You can craft a lot of the guns etc but I have purchased most of the guns from the vendors. If you have multiple agents go to each one and buy the cheapest guns at each vender and donate the guns. I do not recommend purchasing the named guns or gear because they cost too much.
it’s gonna suck but I have between now and expertise 17 to mentally prepare for it and by then hopefully I’ll be SHD 5k cuz I’m only going to use this method for whatever I can’t fill in with countdown, not the whole way

Hey one of my friends was telling me that after you boost a new guy from New York you can get double the salvage points by spending then first before even talking to Aya, I tried it but couldn't get it to work. Could you make a video explaining?
Nice man the slow way is the best way unlike me who hit 29 in 2 days playing federal emergency bunker. I literally play countdown cuz it’s better than summit and I was getting tired of that place. PVE on top
I've not tried the Federal Emergency Bunker mission for expertise levels. What's the point of playing the mission? Is it easier to gain shd points?
@@Unknown1Z1 no you don’t play the mission you do the beginning over and over it nets you the most kill xp as the beginning of the mission has the most NPC you will ever fight it’s insane 3 waves of golds too

This is a good vid but it's still worth doing the new character run if at SHD 1800. it takes 4 hours to get thru wony and receive 1000 SHD. I've never reached 1000 levels by playing in one sitting period.
For the new character, get exotic than delete n do it again?
Jus seeing this video.. I am Shd Lvl 3100.. should I do floor 10 only or do other open world activities to get to 4000? Expertise Lvl is 17
go manhunt quick with help of friend or dummy div account, disconnect net or close div game via task manager, then when you login again you will be in dz lvl 1-30, don't clear your manhunt, clear landmarks ultra fast because you still lvl 40, but npc is lvl 30, easy exotic/shd/xp farm, because while you still in dz lvl 1-30, you still getting lvl 40 gear including exotics

Entertaining vid but I didnt see anything about getting to lvl 20 expertise, I used this method but it wasnt 5 hours, I built my shd up to 40 so I could use my StElmo and Bakers dozen on Keener, as for the expertise lvl.... I spread my fresh points across the board which took me to around 8k on all the comon materials and 5k on the printer filament,I donated most on weapons that could be upgraded leaving 4k steel, 2.5k carbon fiber and 1.5k of everything else.... I went from 160/200 to 180/200 and Im still on lvl 13, this isnt probably the quickest route but for a solo player its a niced little payout for 4 days fun of running through the campaign again the first time I did the keener campaign ...it took weeks with only a couple of hours play a day but I did control points and the like that were not part of the Keener grind
If expertise aint giving me increased damage or skill stuff I dont bother doing expertise. Need more specialization weapons like another rocker launcher that the true sons use on use. We should be able to fire 4 instead of them for an explosive build. Let us have incendiary seeker minds instead of just 1 like in Dev1. That would make the game kinda fun again. But great vid bro. Is the gear blue because of color blind mode? or am i missing something?
Noob here. I have upgraded my Kingbreaker 3 times and do not have the option to "donate" to it like the other weapons I have and dont use. DO you need to donate it to level 10 before you upgarde it?
Its possible you may have ran out of materials or items to donate. you have to be proficiency level 10 before you can upgrade.
What's the music on 14:30 ?
Sadly they have killed the floor 10 grind in the latest update so you won't get XP like this anymore. Still can use it for mods to get filament if you wish, though there are actually easier ways to grind that. Still a good guide for everything else though, especially that exotic components trick. XD
I haven't been playing for almost a year and I still only have like 200 something SHD levels, do I need to even think about this expertise grind yet or just focus on getting more SHD levels?

The summit gives you less very less loot. Countdown is better
In this tutorial summit was for leveling up your SHD watch. Unfortunately this method was patched. Its better to run open world activities in DC for fast XP. Although Countdown is great if your trying to expertise gear and skills!
Does global setting matter? Does Countdown let you choose difficulty setting and what would you recommend?
You cannot change the countdown difficulty. New difficulty settings will be added with the next title update which is in September.
What happens when you reach level 22 ?
This is the most unenjoyable grind ever. Massive really sucks for not giving us a better way to get expertise. All of this only for them to make enemies more powerful to match the 20% increase 🙄
Expertise should have been in the game from day 1. It didn't make any sense to level up weapons or gear that have been in the game since launch. 🤷
Been doing the exotic grind to my LD is 20 my SBR vector my optimist famas my shield splinter and my kingbreaker is expertises 20 plus multiple gear peace’s at expertises 20 my fox prayer coyotes contractors fenris unbreakable catharsis mask with others gear peace’s at 20
Nice, Dubsta! I was only able to max out 3 weapons so far but most of my gear is level 15. I'm working on maxing out my vector and defender drone. Once maxed im going to focus on leveling my gear to 20. Thanks again for the warlords carries! It's the exact reason why I was able to reach expertise 20 in the first place. 😂🙏

Wondering how you have 20 levels, mine only goes up to 10 levels
We can only become proficient on items right not whole brand for example if i maxed out my grupo kneepad any other grupo kneepad will not be affected by that?
Proficiency levels apply towards brand set, gear set, exotics, and weapons as a whole. They are not based on individual items.

Didn’t even know that you can get proficiency through donating anything. Here I am thinking I actually have to use all the items in the game to get to 20 expertise.

I have read that if you level up by DONATING you can only reach lvl20 expertise. BUT, if you organically use gear and weapons only then you can level up till expertise lvl30. Can ANYONE confirm what is the truth about this, PLEASE?

How do the exotic components help your expertise?
Once you reach grade level 10 from upgrading your gear or weapons you will need exotic components to level up between levels 11-21.

So, here's what I dont understand. In order to get a higher expertise level. I have to become "proficient" with more and more shit I dont use? Like the only way to hit 24 is become proficient with practical everything?

Solar farm is great for standard materials. However components, water, and food are obtained easier through the routes I showcased in this video.

No problem. If you create a new character and skip to the warlords of New York expansion you'll gain a ton of shd points based on your total shd level. What is your current shd level?

Up to level 15 of expertise was easy, but getting to 20 is very difficult. What would be the best way?
I talked about this in my video. The best way is to farm floor 10 summit as instructed in this video. Once you reach expertise 17 or shd level 4000. Create warlords of new york characters to obtain scavenging points used for printer filament. You need 3000 printer filament to increase proficiency 0-10
@Playnoob69not just one item. Use SHD points from 2nd/3rd/4th character to level up as many items as you want until SHD is depleted. Repeat "create/delete" new characters as needed until done with all 343 items.
@Playnoob69 3000 filaments = scavenging points, so lvl 4000 thats 3200 scavenging points = 32000 filaments = 10 items and 2 thirds
It is absolute madness to spend 100s of hrs repeating missions to level up. Division devs are always out of vision & strategy in increasing user base. Put a store addon to level up and make our life easier, instead of us leaving the game.
I agree Feddy. The devs should of given us better options to farm for materials and exotics. Countdown should have been the main game mode for leveling up your gear. Its possible they might increase the exotic drop rate once they add the new difficulty.

I watched half the video and simply said nope. While the rewards are cool.. to me it's not worth the time and effort. Im at 12 and said it's enough. Respect for the time and effort you put into this achievement but not for me. Since the grind started for I feel like I haven't been enjoying the game as before... felt like it's a chore every time I hoped on the game. Got to only playing for literally a countdown match and then turned the game off 🤷🏻♂️
Fair enough. The grind starts to slow down once you reach expertise level 14. The grind gets very exhausting so I understand. I would suggest playing the game and just donate your materials over time until you eventually reach 20. Its possible the expertise cap will be increased with each new season.

sorry but please tell me what is the point of all this grinding just to level up to expertise level 20?? yea I know it says it gives u more armour, weapon damage etc. but no matter what expertise level u r at the game just levels up aswell in solo or a group!! so all the grinding and playing with groupsets and weapons and skills u never use or like is just plain stupid invented by the nerds at Ubisoft just to keep us grinding and playing!! or am I missing something? ta. AND even less point now 2go in2 the dz if u r only at level 3(like me) and u come up against a player level 8 or more u r wasted!!
No point of going into the dz when your level 3. Im level 40 + my shd watch is over 1000 increasing my base stats even further. Expertise is simply what you stated. Its meant to provide the player with more power (wpn dmg, armor, skills) through upgrades. I didnt like the fact the devs wanted us to grind weapons and gear that was in the games since launch. However it makes sense to create a grind that would take time to complete instead of rushing through it just to upgrade and be done with it. I personally like the expertise system and have been enjoying upgrading my builds.

@@fireblade6756 , you should be able to reach expertise 10 with a 4,000 SHD watch. IMHO, the real grind begins @ 11-20 since you will need tons of exotic components.

I’m only at expertise level 3 but it’s because I only play casually. I don’t have the time to dump hours and hours into this game. The grind is ridiculous and too costly. If you put the work in, then good for you. Me though, I can’t l spend crazy on this shit alone. The devs have to put their heads together and think.

Dont fall for all these get it quick methods. You are just wasting time doing this. Play countdown...exotics and mats drop plus you also gain requisition which can be used for exotic caches
If you can provide any tips to players that would be more beneficial go right ahead. These are the best methods if you want to max out your expertise. Countdown is not the best way to farm for exotics. The level 30 character boost that I mentioned in this video drops a level 30 exotic every 7-8 minutes. You may be lucky and get 2 exotics to drop in countdown which takes a total of 20 mins to complete. Most matches you wont even get a exotic to drop. Also, the cost of countdown requisition credits for a exotic cache is absurd your better off farming the global events.
@@Unknown1Z1 i already have ...this method has been shared on youtube months ago by many creators as its a good way to get clicks. Its ok the first couple of times but has diminishing returns on time invested...what happens when you run out of mats? You start grinding more either for points to get mats or farm mats/resources. With countdown which is 'slower...15-16mins' you farm 4 things at the same time...gear, mats, exotics (chance based but do drop) and requisition.
Hope they remove this expertise F@ck its to much that why people go to other games
