Turn off your Esc,unscrew the two screws from the side of the display, and apply 2 layers of 5% tint film between the display itself and the green plastic display . Put everything nice back together …
You are good to go without your eyes to burn while riding in the night 👍🏻
You can also integrate and solder your push button instead of your key 👌
Idnk how waterproof it is, but I went through 100% rains and nothing has happened 👍🏻
I burnt two 75100 pro v2.0 from my negligence and now I use a 75200 pro v2.0, and its accuracy it’s +1v off than the app, and I assume that is because of the display cpu readings…( I am waiting for another display to solder it and to see if will sort that out . I burnt the display and this is the reason I do that, and in the end I might even get rid of it from the handlebars as I have a battery voltmeter in the frame triangle )
I see at you the readings are almost the same , and I wonder if you did this video after you upgraded your firmware and the voltage reading on the app has improved….
For the best I could go for a 1:1 reading as my big voltmeter is a little battery voltmeter reader with a temp probe attached …which I use it as a motor temp reader, voltage reader, and battery percentage 👌

Sadly the Battery AmpHour used and the Voltage in the VESC app are in a small font and are difficult to read. These are the values most important to me. It does show wattHours but I just prefer ampHours. At least with the keyswitch/voltmeter I can see the voltage.

I agree, voltage is very hard to see in the app. The battery gauge seems to say 0% when Lion cells hit 3V, not sure you can change that behavior. I like the voltage right on the bars, thats the most important for me. And the RT Data screen that I like to use for my video overlays doesn't have the voltage anywhere on it. So it will be nice having the voltage readout on the bars, even if the key switch itself is kind of janky and bulky Lol

Put a darker film over the display. The easiest way to tighten the handlebar voltmeter is to wrap a thickness of tape around the handlebar. Better still you hockey stick tape more abrasive.

I modified that assembly and got rid of the key switch part. Instead I swapped over their button in place of it. Much cleaner and don't have to worry about the key causing damage to the switch say if you crash. Or losing the key etc.
