@@marksanyal Grid Legends doesnt have the official licence, but they do have the v8 supercar series they just call it "super tourers". Its actually really good if you turn off all the assists and make it as realistic and unforgiving as possible in the options menu. Ive been having a blast turning laps in the ford falcon at Bathurst
@@marksanyal there is also automobilista 2, theyve got super cars but they are too hard for me to drive, and the only australian tracks that they have for the supercars are bathurst and adelaide
Love him or not, you can’t deny he’s extremely talented. 20 wins in a single season is unbelievable.
And competing and making WRC podiums, as well.
Racing against an opposition car that has been drastically slowed down post initial sign off does help . Being Honest

@@wayneblackwwell6439 The Mustang de engineering was Aero based . The negative affect is IN RACE AERO . The Second round of De engineering was Scotty based because he had a driving skill set allowing him to race extremely TRIMMED out compared to the rest of the field . Being Honest

There are in the world, Daytona 500, Indy 500, Monaco F1 GP, 24h du Mans and the Bathurst1000. A fan from France.
I used to work for the guy who ran the car shows, Ian, who had done a deal with the Indy which was the precursor for the current Friday night concerts (we did have the band " the President's of the United states,a favourite of mine promoted by a bloke named Graham who is also a mate of mine). Working on the track from back then(we supplied the cars for the driver display with the promo girls in all cars.) I've always hated the back chicane as I don't like the contact of the wheels on the road less than 4 tyres. Those drivers are fearless. Remember, last time we had the race, a young driver threw a suspension coil onto some dudes balcony. And it wasn't the ground floor.

U are more traction limited on the tighter line. Reynolds was the slower car, so was relying on the better exit.
If he had covered, Gizzy would have gone around the outside, or braked deep on the racing line and pulled a switchback undercut and had racing position for the Chicane.
Gizzy won by 18 seconds. Davie did well to hold him off for as long as he did, and comfortably came second.
Shane is in a class of his own. What an animal.

Can someone explain why Shane’s number is orange on the ticker? I assume the blue is Ford and the Red is GM but what is orange?
The orange number represents the leader of the drivers championship, whoever is in first before that round gets the orange number

blue - ford, red - holden, yellow/orange championship leader. this is the last year of ford vs holden, a classic aussie rivalry, so late in this season they changed from the teams colours to the manufacturers colours.

I have a question for those who know more about Supercars than myself, why do they ride the curbs so hard? It’s looks fucking awesome, but surely it’s slower?
Actually it's not, if they had four wheels on the ground you would use to much track and the car wouldn't make the turn quick enough. By hitting the curb as close to the tyre barrier as possible you use up less track and gain a better time
@@carlhenry4623 I just thought that by unsettling the car by having it in the air, they wouldn't be able to get on the throattle soon enough, but I guess the better line negates that

Not attacking this series or anything but not sure how anyone can be a huge fan of any racing series where one driver wins 90% of the time, this and F1 seem super boring to me.
The difference is this series has always brought hard racing. Everyone is pushing hard. Even Shane has had to fight hard here and there for points.
Just because this year T8 has been a peak performance doesn't mean that's every week and every year. It's like F1, you don't just watch it for the guy out front.
The Holden Fairytale send off Farce 21 sequel Farce 22 . The Newer Mustang V8 supercar superior on debut Post Sign off is De engineered . The second round of De engineering was called Scaling back the Scotty Factor 😂😂👍👍

SVG only has SM opponents because the other racers are not yet qualified to match it. The technique of competing racers is still under SVG...! V8 supercars are getting boring because the winner is in the hands of SVG as always...

Race would better if it was a single 500k race on the Sunday, with co drivers. We need more endurance races to blood drivers.
