My favorite and first punk band I listened to when I was 12yrs old I am 43 n I've seen Nofx three times n talked to El Hefe n Fat Mike Both signed my leather jacket
That's awesome ! I'm 40 and have been listening to them from about the same time, think I was 14 when I first heard them and never stopped listening. I have never got to meet any of them, hopefully I will get to meet them this time around in Montreal.

I've got you beat. I'm 65 and was a DKs, Germs, The Eat fan back in the early 80s, and love the second wave bands too - Operation Ivy, Bad Religion, NOFX! Last year my Spotify top 2 most listened to bands were NOFX and Chicago (guess I like El Hefe's horns!) 😀!

@@ctumbles74 i think so. I'm more into doom stoner heavy psych blues stuff these days. I grew up on punk and still love it just not as relatable these days. Although I do love the Bronx alot they have been my go to for the past couple months. Super rock n roll.
I remember going to Brighton high in cotton wood and having my head down on my desk listening to punk in drublics album on my disc man. I wore a hoodie to hide the head phones and wires. As if I was really that clever thinking the math teachers not going to notice. Although, listening to so long and thanks for all the shoes was my most favorite album they did. Great memories

I saw nofx at the Speedway Cafe three times. Between SLC and Las Vegas, at least 10 times since. Ribbed tour was their best.
@reidellis1988 speedway was just barely before my time, which bums me out I missed out on going there.
@@vickiediamond8575 it was epic. Poison Idea, SNFU, Dan Nasty, everyone played there. I had my arm around Aldine Strychnine neck singing Rock for Light at the Bad Brains/Sick of it All/Leeway show. I saw when Poison Idea put him in the band. They played with the hard-ons.

It's funny cuz maybe some have to look at their cell nonstop while filming but I don't. I also now have a memory to remember while I watch it later. Not all of us in life have the best memory, Sadly I'm one of those. I forget life's moments and so this helps me remember them. and some really enjoy watching this if they couldnt make the show, or hell even if they were there they like to also look back at this memory.. It's ok if you don't understand any of that and think I didn't enjoy any part of it. I hope you have an amazing rest of your day!
