I am glad this is You Tube. No one is getting an honest report on how they rushed the bands through Exhibition Place. Imagine this is what people paid money to see. This is the worst that has ever happened since were have been going to Exhibition Place. This is not what Carnival is all about. People are running in front of the bleachers where people had to pay. I feel sorry for the VIP ticket holders, too. How terrible. It is time for the bandleaders to quit and leave them to have T-shit bands. Lets us see what this glorious festival becomes. One more parade like this next year and I think some action will take place.
I still can't understand why the people of the Caribbean do not have a say in their own culture. There is absolutely no beauty in the way these people were made to portray their bands. There is no where in the Caribbean that you would see people running down the street like this. They dance slowly and enjoy the music. It is time for people to wakeup. I hope that the bandleaders boycott the parade next year. I did my own boycott by staying home.
