A great summing of techniques! Well done! This has to go viral!!! 😉
Thanks !!! Viral idk hahahha that would be great !!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to teach and share! 😊 God bless you!
In Mexico City, we call "the Bermuda" technique, an "empanada". Also, there's another technique my teacher taught me and it's called a "cama" (bed), basically it's made of a plastified clip, you have to curve it the way it protects the capsule.
Saludos Rodolfo
I would love to see a picture of that other technic !!!! 🙏
I love the invisible boom pole lav technique!!! Thanks!!!
Damn this is a good video. Detailed and straight to the point.
By far the best lav mic placement video. This video will last for dekets.
You have the best audio videos
Fantastic follow-up to your previous Lav-mounting series. This is immensely valuable content!
Cheers man !!!
wow that Bermuda "Butter-Fly" technique was really cool!
Haven't seen that one before.
Awesome video dude, thanks for sharing!!
Yeah man glad you like it !!!
Great video. I've used the Bermuda Triangle exclusively on a 3 week shoot as a sound utility. Its really great if your in a pinch.
Yes the Bermuda it’s a life saver when nothing else it’s working !!
Thanks man, it's Nov 2020 and this info is excellent.
"Cut a lil piece of tape *rips* Bam!" You are gold!
Smart , clear and handy, thanks.
Amazing Video, thanks a lot !
So many techniques... Rm11, dpa concealer, overcovers and Joe's sticky are my first options.... Great video
Thanks man !!! I have to try those Dpa concealers !!!!
Just getting into the space and this was a great summary. Thank you!
I appreciate your effort !!! Great video explanations!
Great information, great pace, great delivery. Thank you!
Try that lmc/moleskin sandwich minus the lmc mount and minus the joes and that's what I use 99% of the time. I do reinforce the back of the moleskin with Topstick to make it extra sticky. Also makes them reusable (just add a new sheet of top stick).
That's smart, I'm gonna give a go 😉
RLFO many tnkx for your guides!
Great video thanks for the tips my man!!!!
A thousand likes to U, man!!!!! Great channel!

Nice video! How about wire noise ? I am using countyman b3
Generous sharing of wisdom
Man what a great video! This helped so much! You sound like a cool audio guy too!
Thanks buddy there's some techniques I haven't done before.
My man let me know how successful you are with them !!!
Great video Rodolfo, thanks! I tried to use Transpore 3M skin tape and stuck it right on the URSA Foamies. But it was so hard to unstick this tape from foamies later...
With the foamies the problem it’s that it’s a one time only some guys tape some moleskin to the foamie so it can last longer I will desmontarte on a video soon !!! Cheers also send me a picture of the way you use the 3m with the foam !!!! Cheers
Fantastic tutorial, thank you 🤓👍
great great stuff.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge, really helpful.
I’m glad it helped you !
could use some advice for mounting a lav under a hat in heavy winds. any thoughts?
Using the triangle technique will surely stick it to clothes, but will it remove the noise from them?
For any light movement scene might be good for a heavy action scene with lots of movement I recommend any mount with sticky stuff
The was really usefull. I love the last one! Thanks!
Cheers, let me know if you get to try them !!! And if you were successful doing them !!
Nice video 😄
very good techniques! thank you!
😉
Thanks for sharing your secrets! :-)
Great advice! But what about entry level lav mics? Like the sennheiser ME2? I used the bermuda method on it, but it would not stick for very long (tallent would drag in his shirt from time to time and alot of movement). I do not have the budget to get this higher end lav mics at the moment, and the ME2 does not have these fancy mounts either.
The best methos i found is cut a piece of microfibre fabric and tape it over the ME2 to make the shirt-sound lower. However, the tape would still transfer a good amount of russle into the mic. Any advice? Thanks
great overview.....good job
Thanks !!
So good. Thank you!
Cheers !!!
Do you ever work with side addressing Lavs? I'm looking at the Oscar Sound Tech OST-802's, which are side addressing. THey also make a COS-11D style mic, the TL-40, and I could use those techniques you showed here fine. THanks in advance for your response!
I haven't used a side one hiding sure creates complications with those but you can apply some of this techniques let me know what works for you !
cheers
Triangle Triangle....lol ha ha ha, Ur humour though....sweet.
Cheers !!!! The triangle it’s a good one 😉
Good stuff man but one thing I've never came across on youtube is how to hide the lavalier transmitter on both male and female. Specially female, lets say its a wide shot and she's wearing a dress, how the hell will one hide that??? In general how would one hide a transmitter on someone.
kool technique
Cheers
I think anyone who wants to be a professional actor should invest in their own chest strap.
Awesome! great knowledge! thanks
My pleasure !!!
