Please do a video on missing secrets of boxing. There are no secrets in boxing. Only forgotten information. I was watching a boxing breakdown on this great boxer who was 51-0 around a hundred pounds and had a 75 percent K.O. rate. U know who im talking about. The point is that he had a new footwork I hadn't seen. Kinda a shift with a pivot. Loved it. U can use your lead to beat a southpaw. U can go the opposite way around the ring as your supposed to. If I understand the risks benefits and trained under duress. You know so much. I love your channel. Please if u do this put a detailed Dempsey roll explanation. I just love it but its not my first attack in a fight. Id wait until I would be less likely to be countered in the later rounds.

MMA's starting to go in that direction too. Rankings are a joke these days and money fights are given priority over everything else. Fighters are starting to see that it's in their best interest to pad their records with knockouts so they'll get the big shot and people who've been grinding away getting wins over good opposition are being pushed to the side. Even looking at Jorge's case, he's always been a top level fighter, consistently getting wins over killers. But only when he got the back to back knockouts did people start noticing him and only then did he finally go up the rankings and get the title shot. At the end of the day, it's the entertainment business and whoever brings in the money are the ones who usually succeed.

@@insanezombieman753 yea I cant disagree. Just recently with aldo getting that shot with no wins at Bw comes to mind. And yea if you bring In money your more likely to get a shot. But all in all you still have to be in the top 5 or 7 to get a shot. So its still the best against the best

Excellent interview! Nobody ever mentions that Big GF sustained q cut and the match was delayed. In that delay, like the big dummie he is he has said, he kept training hard while Ali went out into the town and thats where the Ali, Koomba teh or something like that developed. Just like drastic weight cuts drain legs because those are the biggest muscles i.e. leg day lifting sucks lol, there is overtraining and its real. Ali rested and recovered, GF left it all in the heated gym. GF had gone 15 rds before with far heavier hitters, no way he fades that fast without already being drained. It is what it is.

Yeah the way Conor lost to Floyd was just awful. When guys give their opponent no credit, it actually ruins the whole fight, and makes them hated by fans. Jorge understands fans. Jorge is also a real man, a real alpha male. He isn't afraid to compliment his opponent, or talk about his weaknesses. He is funny as hell without being fake. Everything he says is very truthful. The other fighters don't seem to understand that you can be humble, and confident at the same time.

The Colby vs. Usman fight should have had an instant rematch. That fight was absolutely insane, and was a really good showing by Colby. If Colby could improve by 5%, he could win a decision against Usman, especially with the bad judges. Then you'd get Colby vs. Jorge for the title, which would be a HUGE fight, 2 million buys. But I do want Jorge to get the next title shot, against Usman, because he is less obnoxious.

Jorge has never had a bad loss in the UFC. He always looks good, even when he loses. People are afraid to lose. But the sports biggest stars right now have all lost fights. I'm just so glad that Teddy finally gets it. And I mean that in the most respectful way. Very, very glad to finally have his educated eyes on the sport of MMA properly, and not just talking trash. Takes a big man to change his public opinion like that, and both Teddy and MMA fans are in for a treat so long as he keeps watching.

This is the respect boxing and mma fans should have. Fans have admiration for both sports. Masvidal can speak on boxing and Atlas can speak to MMA. We all love the game.

Teddy, Ken, Rob .. I am a teacher and poet from Israel. Rocky's movie saved my life when I was a kid. Luckily now that I'm 51. I got to your broadcasts. And it gives a lot of inspiration. Agrees with every word and every letter and every syllable. Anyone who wants to be a champion in their life must listen to your broadcasts. Understand what are the characteristics of a champion. How to maintain this energy every day anew. I teach the "old man and the sea" whose main theme is the mentoring of a teacher to his apprentice. Championship is a value: to be a champion as a father as a poet as a person .. This is a worthy goal in life. For being honest and true - thank you both !!

Great interview! Teddy is a obvious legend and it's good to see him more involved in mma.
Jorge gives a good interview. He's very articulate and he's very descriptive when it comes to explaining situations within a fight. He will make a great commentator once he retires if he chooses to go that route.
If he keeps hanging out with Teddy, his striking game will be unstoppable!
