Interesting video Anna because I learnt some new English vocabulary. Honestly what generally annoys myself is when people are persistent in asking me for my personal information, such as my private social media accounts, like Instagram or Facebook. When people ask me for my phone number, which i cannot give as it can be a national security risk. Or when people disregard my choices of treating the class systems as equal but not a communist way. When people say to me "Oh you're rich so why don't you end poverty." And it's like I can't because government is in the end in-charge of where the money of a country goes. And I am not government. So I could try to pay for homes and what not but I would need their permission. Then some people completely ignore all I say so I go quiet. Then my silence is portrayed as not caring. My brain just drowns in confusion but my intellect mind recharges my frustration into non emotional obstructions, then a solution is found. And the solution is 'Can't make everyone happy, but I'll sure try to consistently improve development of the beautiful land I live in. That land is Norway. And I consistently exercise in cross fit to beat the world record...literally 3 seconds away💪 Furthermore when I am provoked into going silent people find that awkward. This happens after they constantly hound me to do things when in reality they're not doing anything themselves. I wouldn't ever say that to them because I do not like to offend people. But they are really making me on edge or as they say in Norwegian translated into English "I feel like a lump of cheese lying on the road." This means when someone feels really frustrated and mentally stressed out. OMG Prying that's the one and I really do find that one REALLY irritating. I liked this video yes!!!!👍😅 #StopPryingPeople🙏✨
I'm here for the english accent. 🇬🇧❤️ It makes me feel more comfortable. This is how I learned it in London. Each of your videos brings something very good to continue learning. You're great!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤩🤩

Thank you for your kind words. You know if you are really keen to sound like me, I do have a course which can teach you my accent: www.englishlikeanative.co.uk
Greetings from Germany 😄 That's a lot of new words and phrases I just learned! Thanks, Anna! Now I'll be able to tell people that I'm annoyed about something or someone in so many creative ways... after I wrote all of those phrases down and went over them a couple times that is 😅
Good advise but sometimes people try to use polite words in order to avoid the idea their english is not good enough or sometime speak lowly due to the fear to make mistakes
Morning everyone! Thank you Anna for this video, I must admit I didn't know many of these expressions, although I hope I won't need them too often :) Have a nice Sunday, greetings from the South West :)
It was a bright cold morning in April...pretty much I remember how got started George Orwell's novel 1984. Really I think all over the world should have a Ministery of Love each Country and destroyed each room 101.
throwing a completely unrelated question here: To call = To visit in books from Jane Austen or Bronte sisters. Is "to call" still used nowadays to mean "to visit" or is it obsolete? Thanks
We do still use it in that way but normally we'd so to CALL ROUND or CALL IN ON. I am going call in on my friend on my way home and hopefully I will call round my mum's house tomorrow.
oh this class leaves me so upset, 🤣 it's just a joke, that was amazing, you are the most charming teacher, I enjoy everything while learning and improving my English. thank you very much👏

It was a long time ago the last time I heard the word perturb. Practically nobody uses this word. But classics Spanish writers used to write it their plays, novels, and so on. Nowadays you say, hey don't perturb me¡¡....and surely you will be put in a madhouse or may be in prison because of swearing-in the streets

She actually did a program for C4 years ago about the origins of swear words. She looked as uneasy as you looked in the ones you did. The Scottish comedian/magician Jerry Sadowitz did one in the 90s for BBC2 also. Jerry didn't look uneasy when he did his. 😄 All 3 of them, very interesting

Madam ,
Could you please tell me
1)I'm in the bus
2)I'm on the bus
Which one is correct?
Someone said one
Generally, if you are telling someone you are going somewhere by bus, then you are “on” the bus, that's the correct usage. There are some cases where you might say in the bus, inside as opposed to outside, but generally you would say you are riding on the bus. It's a nuance of the English language.
On the bus. Basically any vehicle in which you can stand and walk around in we use ‘on’ - on the train, bus, plane, ship.
@@EnglishLikeANative thank you so much madam

First comment... Hello I'm pingkan from Indonesia... Hello ana... 😇
Hello💚have a great day!
I think people from all over the world would find the behavior described in this video as being frightfully irksome!
There are even more ways to describe the state of being irked and more names for the ones who are uncouth::
Driving me crazy/cuckoo/ nuts/bananas/to despair
Making me livid
Winding me up
Ticking me off
Irritating the life out of me
Leading me up the garden path
Leading me on a right merry dance
Had me going round in circles
It's like talking to a brick wall.
Having the manners of a pig.
Acting like a big girl's blouse
Being mouthy
Being a loudmouth
Being a pain the rear end
Can't you see the steam coming out of my ears?
Reaching boiling point/breaking point
Asking for trouble
Irksome people are often that way due to substance abuse. Such people may be described as being stoned out of their head. They may be called such things: pothead, and head the ball.
Who's that pothead?
Who's this head the ball?
A group of uncouth people would be known as a shower;
What a shower!
What a shower of uncouth individuals they are.
I am just confused like when to use miffed or peeved. Where do you use miffed and peeved. When it is wrong to use miffed or peeved.
Please next time add subtitles because some of us wanna translate some words that u r saying 🙏🏻♥️
I hope to step on English soil one day. Wish me luck : )

First time I have heard this word from Someone on Instagram "Where are you Erin? I am Hangry"
I couldn't help notice how rich is the English language of ways to say "Annoying"...
Welcome back ♥️
In India You have to take off the shoes/Slippers before entering in Home.
You need to be on Countdown to have a word off with Suzie Dent.
She actually did a program for C4 years ago about the origins of swear words. She looked as uneasy as you looked in the ones you did.
The Scottish comedian/magician Jerry Sadowitz did one in the 90s for BBC2 also.
Jerry didn't look uneasy when he did his. 😄
