    What a wonderful effort. The challenge ran across most of our last lockdown here in Victoria, Australia. It was great having something joyful to look forward to each day and the videos were often just the tonic needed. Thanks so much Neil and Kathryn.

    Havent been able to understand much of what you're saying, but the piping has been amazing. Its been a great 100 days. I've just started playing my pipes again over the last few months, after a long break. This has inspired me to try to pick my pipes up every day. No excuses!

    • @stuartcambell-frazer8863
      @stuartcambell-frazer8863 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I stopped for two months and didn’t like it when I got back into it. I couldn’t get past the first two bars(first line) of each tune. But my pipe major friend John Best urged me on and eventually I couldn’t stop playing. I really love playing them when it goes right and Neil has been a true source of inspiration. I really loved his videos and look forward to his Christmas edition. I was exhausted and could hardly breathe, but after at least two weeks, I played like I’d never been away.

    Thanks Neil it has been great to hear the "Regular tunes" played by an expert piper on a well tuned pipe instead of MSR's etc. Although it sounded today like the pipes might need a wee rest?

      I suspect it could be Neil who needs 'a wee rest'!! Although it has turned colder here, which does affect the pipes. Thanks for your very generous donation, we're sure it will be much appreciated

      Thanks very much Don,, it's not the pipes that need a rest, it's me! They could actually do with more time on. 90% of these vids, it's out the box, 30 secs tuning and go for it... sometimes you get away with it, sometimes not! Thanks very much again

    Great sound as per usual Neil. Just wondering do you use a tuner when tuning your pipes as a lot of pipers won’t entertain them? Also (after you have had a well earned rest ) any chance of a tuning / maintenance video later on? Well done again 👍
