The Finals is one of the only games you can have SO MUCH FUN even losing. Everything you can do, the chaos, the strategies, outsmarting opponents who have better aim than you. It’s one of the best designed games out there

I see new people pretty much every day, and every game I play. I do play a lot of Power Shift, but I've been playing World Tour more recently. The amount of people I see at Level 1-30 is massive. BTW, I mainly play fighting games competitively and I usually avoid FPS. I've played this game nearly every day for pretty much a year now. It's addictive as anything else.
I am so immensely in love with this game. Major, MAJOR shoutout to Embark for every little thing that makes this game. ❤️❤️❤️
Suggestion: there should be a caster mode. Especially when the other group (in round 1) is still busy in overtime. This is the most exciting time of the match soo show it!!!. Probably would need to hide the gadgets/specializations.
Oh and i am biased but an Amsterdam map would be the greatest thing to happen in my lifetime 🙏🏼❤️
An Amsterdam map would be SO cool. Call of duty had a couple maps set there for gunfight and I think a 6v6 and I absolutely LOVED them and wanted them to be bigger much like the size of The FINALS maps

I really hope at some point we get a world tour event where you get an initial deposit bonus that increases the farther you toss the cashbox into the cashout. That way a losing team could pull a last second win by pulling a kobe from downtown or cross map an nailing that one in a million 3 point throw.

Myself and 2 other really good dagger players were running triple dagger in world tour earlier today and ran into neon in round 2 and played him in the final round. Quite the game we had I cannot lie

I quit the game around season 2 and then couple months later i were scrolling through my feed and saw neongutzz playing and im like oh snap thus game has a evolved it looks si sick and now i love it i hoped back on i play every minute i can

Personally I have had it to where the finals is absolutely fked when you lose and it pisses me and one of my friends off beyond belief.
For example: we are low gold currently (im at 23k after a losing streak and im the highest rank in terms of points) however we often face teams of 2-3 plat (sometimes even 1 diamond) players in ranked due to the lack of rank point difference between us and how SBMM works when we do good multiple times in a row.
This can be seen by the fact that the player at 500th place in the world (for ranked) is only 2x my current ranked points regardless of the fact that hes by the leaderboard's standards a player who is part of the 0.00001% or something like that, if there was a larger gap between ranks it would allow for a more steady point progression making the difference between matches feel less like a 90 degree cliff with a guy aiming a gun off the edge of it at you and more like a steep hill.
In my opinion there should be no case where a team of players starts a day at a high place in a rank then gets fked by the match making so hard that they drop an entire rank due to facing multiple teams who were in the rank above them even after losing points multiple games in a row and yet I have experienced that atleast 5 times on 5 different days.
Im not good at the game at all but i just love how creative it is and unlike other games like cod i can take breaks and not come back and see that i have to level up 60 different things to get the good stuff.
The modes are unique too and give a breath of fresh air when other games have similar modes to each other. I'll probably play it till the day it dies.
I would love to see them ditch time limit on battlepasses and have it so once you bought it, you can progress it whenver you want in any season so im more likely to spend money on the game.
Also, maybe they could add a feature where every few hours or days you can have Hot loot where random loot is on the map you can pick up (not a lot of it tho) and new players can try other equipment they don't have and see if they want to grind for it. Looking forward to the future of the finals
If you do challenges or get 10+ kills in any match the game gives you a lot of XP and Virtual cred. Make sure to do the daily challenges.
Would be nice to be able to use anything and everything inside the practice mode though

The finals reminds me of the non Nintendo version of the feel of splatoon, it's not really about kills but when you get a good game it's fun then you have to have strategy and team play as well and it's a focused team play makes the game engaging instead of mind numbing lol
i hope this game isnt dying, this the only competitive shooter I can enjoy
Ok heres something crazy. Imagine the same format as world tour,but with two teams starting with encrypt keys or cash boxes on person,like counterstrike. And the other two teams spawn in-between them and the cashout/terminals. Everything else is the same,but "plugging" is essentially gone.

I think the reason new players have a hard time with this game is the lack of SBMM or some equivalent in casual game modes. Quick cash always has someone dropping 20+ kills. Being a new player is super hard in a game especially like this one. This game has a huge learning curve and being absolutely destroyed while trying to learn can be disheartening. I think Embark needs to introduce a game mode meant for rookies or something. Cash out as a game mode has a lot on nuance and levels to it that take time to learn.
Embark confirmed all gamemodes have sbmm is just not as severe in casual modes

It would be cool if power shift and bank it were part of WT somehow. I really think they should rework WT to be a random shuffle between all the modes except TA and keep ranked as the dedicated competitive cash out only mode. This would help with not having newer players/casual players matched up against high skill competitive players all the time.
The only issue I have with the finals as a beta player coming back, is that farming points to unlock weapons and gadgets is super frustrating because of how long it is and it's really difficult to experiment because of it, every purchase I made i feel like I regret and wasted 5 hours
Oh and i was hoping they would get rid of AI announcers, they're underestimating how hyping it is to have a good voice actor as the announcer with good lyrics not AI puns 😭🤦
The Community this game has can't be understated enough. Ever since playing in the launch, I can't recall more than 5 truly bad experiences with people. Everyone I've met on this game has such an optimistic and motivating mindset to each game and winning with random teammates feels like creating a new bond. The streaming world feels like this one big family where streamers go to other streams to chat, joke, and que up together. It's honestly one of the stronger if not the strongest community bonds out there and a big reason why I keep playing every night.

I agree that there's still toxicity in this game, no more than other games, but I actually think there's less toxic players in The Finals compared to other games I've spent significantly more time on.
Toxic players in this game are assholes (they're never not assholes), but it feels less common in this game than compared to Siege, Apex, Fortnite, and ESPECIALLY Valorant lol.
And at least Griefing in The Finals is less possible in this game than you'd think.
Nothing beats your toxic teammate on Siege dropping a C4 on spawn and team-killing the entire goddamned team, in a game with no revives and long ass queues, getting publicly banned by BattleEye, then logging into their main account to do the same thing after because it was Free-Week on Siege.

I don't know about the NA side of things, but the OCE side has definitely been dying and suffering - I can just hop on any day any time and I see the same few people queueing in any mode :/
It wasn't like this before - I didn't have to wait 3 minutes for a queue at peak hours, and then getting stomped by a top 500 3 stack, and then waiting another 5 minutes before queueing and then queueing them again :/

It's just incredibly disheartening seeing these new players going 0 and 12 consistently in casual gamemodes

People I know from NA are doing completely fine
I play in N/A and ngl I run into the same 30 people especially if u have cross play off which stinks sometimes our wait times are 5 to 7 minutes in ranked we can't find anything if cross play is off
something that probably isnt helping oce is that a lot of your players are probably just swapping to asia or something, sacrificing ping for decent queue times

@WkingMo23 I was mostly talking concentrators and I know atlest 4 of the not big pool of content creators this game have that have made or is making vids about this game that had mostly origins in apex wich makes sense based on how simular they can be compared to others but it's just som observation I made and not used as a fakt just saying somthing to say somthing

Embark listening to selfish streamers is what will kill it, i even saw casual games dying because of it ( MS2 )
Making people out to be selfish when you don’t understand their thought process or why they believe what they do isn’t a very good way to get people to want to listen to you.
Also why would someone who bases their livelihood on this game do anything to intentionally harm it? Everyone has their own opinions, streamers are just better at sharing theirs so devs are going to hear stuff from them first. Also embark seems to work more off of player data rather than individuals opinions of the game so I would worry less about them only listening to streamers. Take the fact they said they’re going to rework the stun gun as a hint of that(I doubt any streamers or pro players were asking to rework that gadget).

when S2 trailer dropped, I thought the finals would blow up and more people would switch from apex and cod. Playing since S1 had tons of fun till S4. This season i barley played. If EMBARK will keep this course player base will never grow. I hope they'll start to listen the community and grow this game together...

As simple as hitting the double fps button and has nothing to do with hardware limits or optimization limits. (TF is incredibly optimized. It has to be, to even have stable frames with everything going on in a given match)

The Finals has the same impact as the TH-camrs/Streamers of this game. It‘s non existent. Watching this nerdy Light guy with his broken shotgun shows what‘s wrong with the game. Unbalanced, casual unfriendly, dry content drops/not enough content in the slightest compared to other games, servers are trash und on top dumb decisons by Embark without communication
Ask yourself ONE question: Why do so many people try the game and not stick around? It‘s boring. They just stop playing and forget about it. There is nothing, it‘s an empty shell, it‘s nothing special besides the destruction, no cool characters, like two usefull weapons and a year ago we had 4 modes and now we have like 5 modes with that TA crap. Accept the reality. The game lacks everything and the competition is bigger, better, offers more and has way more updates/content
I agree with the lack of content and trash servers. Ever since season 3 it feels like I'm waiting for the server to react to my inputs. Unless optimization has gotten worse, idk
People try the game out and don’t stick with it because of the high skill ceiling and the fact that most the people playing the game are veterans of the game. The server issues especially have pushed my friends and i away from the game. Certain things not working the way they are supposed to just gets frustrating all the time while at the same time you are going against level 70 emerald players as a level 15 in quickplay. The issue isn’t that the game is boring if anything the finals is by far one of the most action packed fps there is
