I’m a long date Stored Power player, been playing it since the mon’s release and over time it has become my favourite build in the game. I think the build is good, but heavily underplayed due to how good Psyshock is and so there are not many reasons to play Stored Power over it. I personally find myself at home with Future Sight, probably because I like my resets and the target priority it gives, but I’m becoming more open to Psybeam. I’ve played Stored Power in ranked a lot and won many games, usually even outdamaging my Psyshock games, going up to 136k damage. This build is far from being bad and it’s also very fun to play, but just being “good” isn’t enough at the moment
I very much enjoyed Stored Power in quick matches for a good while before the Psyshock buff. It does feel good, and I usually find that I get murdered by them in ranked while playing Psyshock. It feels hard to choose it over Psyshock though, especially after this buff. I feel like I'd be better off with Glaceon or Mystic Fire Delphox if I was trying to play something similar
one of those cases where its just picking between an S tier ability and an A tier ability. psyshock might be the best ranged dmg spell int he game currently

THANK YOU for being maybe the first unite content creator to acknowledge that Stored Power is actually good. In what world is the ability to kite and get a 70% movement speed increase every 4 or 5 seconds while doing pretty decent, SURE HIT damage not good??
If you're amazing at landing Psyshocks and avoiding getting blown up by mons with infinite mobility, then cool! But let's not pretend that Stored Power is bad please.

I find this move better than Psyshock at melting Zacian, especially when the doggo is alone

I was playing with teammates who played this and all of them did 95K- 120K DMG. It's surprisingly a strong build
I've always used this build and it has always been the best for me honestly, I'm happy it's getting better representation

I have a friend that plays almost exclusively stored power psybeam Espeon. I was skeptical at first but he's always one of the best players in the match, and there's still great sinergy since stored power slows a bit.
stored power is so underrated man. specially with the future sight resets the heal is insane 🤠
the only problem is just when you against high sp.def mons like tyranitar, snorlax, slowbro, blissey

Now I see why I saw so many Espeons running Stored Power Psybeam yesterday. Thought they were trolling.
They were playing it in lane though.
i first tried this build when it had a higher winrate than psyshock and i was mind boggled at how good it felt to play; it's just not something you think does anything until you try it yourself
Psyshock is too satisfying to give up!! Good alternative if psyshock’s nerfed too hard tho

This has been my main espeon build for a while, I do so much more damage with it than I do with Psyshock.

Eyup... This is what I've mainly been using on Espeon since the buff, though its been in path. Seriously underrated build currently but that might be changing with this video 😅
I love these types of moveset that's unexpectedly good (I played a lot of cramorant surf/airslash and it was not a bad combination I don't recommend it now because of the nerf on airslash)

It was a while ago before sky ruins (but dive/airslash is still good)

I wish that this move makes it pair up with Future Sight much better. Right now, Psyshock outclasses this move so I don't know how good this move would be even after the future Psyshock nerfs.
I have yet to watch the video but stored power is underrated
I think they fixed it, but you use to be unstoppable while using Stored Power and in some moments ending up blocking Charizard's ult with it.

This build is fun bt the securing potential and burst dmg given by psyshock psybeam combo is invaluable

Ive been running this build as well since release because future sight has a hard condition to get resets and honestly psybeam is just straight up damage. Stored power just allows espeon to get away from so many situations and it makes it harder to kill due to the kiting potential it offers. Yes psyshock is busted but stored power is also a force to be reckoned with when played properly. Both builds offer different play styles and i just do better with stored power compared to psyshock.

@ScarlettBoy well why I prefer it cuz I use psybeam first and then use psyshock for stun and then use the boost atk for possible one shots :)
I honestly love stored power. It's stupid hard/annoying to catch, and doing really good damage. I prefer the ability to lock-on with future sight, but it really chunks defenders and I find it a good Zacian counter.
I think you need a separate cooking channel, Cris... People don’t seem too happy with your “troll” builds. CrisCooks sounds good to you?

See I personally like future sight due to its combo after you kill someone or if they running away when they’re low. I need to try this since I done stored power + future sight, psyshock + future sight, or psyshock + psybeam
I kinda want to see stored power damage decreased by 50% but the amount of projectiles doubled. I know its a nerf because defense and whatever but I just want to see a million toothpicks flying at opponents
Stored Power is really good against Speedsters, Psyshock is useless if you can't hit them.
Eh maybe in Jungle I can see it, but Espeon in jungle is a waste imo but soloQ is YOLO

Such a good lowkey build i use to play this before the buff with psyshock but this could be an alternative to glaceon if it gets nerfed again🤔

its literally a 3 sec cd on stored power.
From the charge time, it's 2 secs now I think for this build to keep up in the meta, reduce the charge time by 1s, but it's pretty fine
Also how good is this build compared to the normal one
It is fine, psyshock is broken tho
It is very good if you got a duo partner playing Snorlax or Slowbro

Psybeam is also not at all more damage overall, you don’t wipe teams with stored power psybeam, there’s no reason to play this moveset

@ScarlettBoy it deals good damage so whats the problem. it may not synergize as well but that if you can win with it and deal good damage its fine.
