That cabin is better than many hotel rooms. We really enjoyed our trip to Halong Bay as well. We have 2 teenagers who are more techies and social media type but they sat on our cabin's balcony, staring into the scenery for about 10-15 minute straight, just enjoying "paradise" without saying a single word. They, and we were in awe of how nice Halong Bay was in real life. What really made it special was the delicious freshly cooked food, the beautiful dining room, and the very nice crew. We were talking about going back to Halong bay for a 3-day 2-night next year.
We were stunned by the place also. It was one of those experiences where we thought it would not look as good as it does in pictures but realised it is one where pictures do not do it justice. The bay is stunning and we would definitely go back again at some point. The room and staff were also a highlight. I think we were given a room upgrade too 😲
Nothing can describe the beauty of Halong bay than your beautiful words: "I could stay here forever". I was onboard the Paradise Elegance cruise ship last time and it's really greater than ever. Friendly staff, Nice cruise ship, Attractive excursion. It's operated by the biggest cruise firm in Halong bay.
We really really miss the ship. We both felt so sad when we left. The bay is really one of the most beautiful areas we have ever visited. We would definitely return again. And Paradise were such a professional and welcoming company also. We met a couple of members of staff from the Philippines who have helped us plan our future travels 😁
That is a beautiful ship and super modern. The bedroom and bathroom are so nice...and then you get all the views for yourself being on the corner there! A recent couple I saw use the Indochina Junk, which doesn't look as modern since it's supposed to look like those olden day ships, but they did a 3 day cruise which looked really nice as you get your own private beach vs using the same beach that all the day cruises use. The also get to lunch on the beach and whatnot. It's a smaller boat, which makes it more intimate and I love that it was the only boat anchored in the area unlike all the other boats that do shorter cruises.
We were looking at the Junks too. We were thinking of doing the 3 day cruise and really wish we had 😅 It was a really really nice experience and the crew made it special. 😊
@@LostKnox I just finished watching "Shot in the Dark Travel" and their cruise looked really nice, too. They all had a great time even though one of their days was rainy, which I think made it even neater as then you get a nice mix/variety of weather while on the bay.
What an amazing experience. I'm so jealous. I noticed Andrew never showed how many -Shrimp- Squid he managed to catch. All good things eventually come to an end and I understand how Leanne the lip felt leaving the boat. Keep up the great vlogs, looking forward to the next one of your adventures.
Wow that cabin room looks incredible! If we go back to Ha Long Bay we’ll definitely do something similar. Makes such a difference having a little slice of luxury every so often! Great video guys looking forward to the rest 😁
@@LostKnox we just did a day trip so no overnight stay, we didn't really consider something like this as we're tightarses when it comes to our budget 😂 but having seen what this looks like we wish we would have! Looks so worth it for what you get!

We did pay for the room but I think they upgraded us free of charge. On their site I think this room was going for nearly $600 however you can book on booking.com for nearly half that. They also had cheaper rooms at a much better rate 😊
It is okay. For the price it is VERY good. It does sometimes struggle with focusing in low light. The lens we want is about 8 times the price. I think if you are starting out It is fine 🙂

Which lens you use for handheld vlogging
We use the Samyang 18mm AF F2.8 on the sony A7iii.
We would like to upgrade this lens in the future though 😊
