I bought this game seeing it as DLC to SS2 but I loathe the changes that had been made: full consumption is way to fast for vehicles, soldiers come out of destroyed vehicles which isn’t realistic at all, line of sight has been shortened for tanks(I think). Though, I do like how the graphics and sound effects had been improved a little.
Crew out of tanks: I agree, at least not standing and fully combat ready. I am losing so many officers because of it and without them it will be difficult. Playing on very hard. I'm going back to SS2.
@@halvorslemmen1 This is because when units get hit they gain a ridiculous amount of experience, meaning the crew jump out at 400-1000xp and can always see you which is really annoying. This feature is horrible and definitely should be removed, especially because crew in real life abandon vehicles that are knocked out however in sudden strike vehicles don’t get knocked out only completely destroyed
Hello there, I have with much persistence, managed to get to 1941 German campaign, battle of outskirts of kiev. But at the beginning you are assaulted, by soviet tank force, that seems never ending? does the soviets end tank production after a while and I can proceed? It seems the tanks are never ending.
@@SuddenStrike_HQ Hello, I kept playing the mission. Not sure how much time has passed, because I save and come back to it. Eventually you get a message saying "The enemy attacks have finished, attack now you have the initiative." It seemed like it lasted for 2-3 hours before I got the message. I blew up at least 100-200 tanks. What I did was, retreat behind the bridge, and hide some men in a bunker. I then turned their fire off. If your men all die in the defence zone, you lose the mission. But i hid in the bunker and let it fill up with tanks, then went back in later. The problem is, they don't give you any officers tho, only snipers. :(
Can u play the German Campagn 45, only the first mission. Ive been trying it for so long, even now after 5 years of not playing im just failing and i dont find any online videos or infos about that mission. Would love to get an answer
Well, there is a small error in the mission goal, it says "defend the north-eastern edge of the map" instead of "defend the north and eastern edge of the map". so if you lost suddenly because they break through the very north. Very important is to use the 2 Kübelwagen at the very beginning of the game and fast occupy strategic buildings in the midde of the map and set them on "no fire". If you still have problems, lower the difficulty Settings in Options, I for my part play only on the hardest difficulty against the AI. Dont feel ashamed to use the Pause Mode and give move-orders. Strategic and Tactic wise there is no comparable game to the Sudden Strike RTT Series, unbeaten until today, where new strategy games have a hard cap of 200 units but focus on graphics, litterary ridiculous.

If you look at footage of the Russian attack on Ukraine you can often see tank crew get out of the Tank if it was hit. (not always)

The unit production ruined it for me in this one.
Sudden strike 2 is a gem. I wish for more missions.
Absolutely agree, unit production makes the game more unrealistic and very repetitive

It's scripted so the soviets attack infinitely. The scripts are bad.

I played sudden strike 2 today but i also deleted it because troops are moving to slowly and it is irritating me.
You can edit the speed in the settings menu

الامر يحتاج الي عمل "اوامر" خاصه. امر صعب و معقد. لا تستطيع ان تفعل ذلك في الاعدادات. اسف
