I bought one of these as a temporary car seven years ago. I’ve bought other cars since but still own and run the 2.0 hdi Picasso. I keep it in A1 condition. It has 157,000 on the clock and still drives the same as when I bought it seven years ago with 96,000 miles on the clock. They’re good old cars 👍
Brilliant job Sion. Pity after all that hard work the fuel pump decided to spit the dummy. Must have took offence to the dad's taxi window decoration. 😂😂
Well done Sion good to see the Picasso getting some much needed TLC as I said my brother had an identical car Sahara gold metallic brown interior BX52USN which was a 1.6 petrol The only bugbear we had is how grubby the interior got Our next two were later versions with grey interior and they held up better! Those cubbyholes in the back are really useful and hold a lot and the modubox in the boot was and is a great idea We’ve had six picassos across all three generations and never had any issues with them at all the middle seat is useful you can fold it and the table is great on longer journeys The stereo knob is fairly easy to sort many PSA cars had the same head unit I know my 2004 c3 had the same radio and my later 2010 had the same radio as the series 2 so eBay or breakers yards may help there Hope the road trip to Scotland goes well
My 2002 2.0HDi SX went round to 280,000 miles, on the original clutch Sadly died of tin worm. To see yours with everything attached and working, you even have the trolley!, after almost twice that is a testament to how BRILLIANT these cars are. Sadly due to sciatica, I couldn't drive mine any more and Citroen in their 'wisdom' never made a automatic diesel.
They are good cars with good viability !!! . I had a BMW 1 series for 1 day .... only driving like you .... nearly got "T-Boned" on a roundabout by an Audi A3 ...... then 5 minutes later offered a race off the next roundabout by some other "hatch" !!! . I'll keep the BMW as a "stand by" car .... but looking for a small "Punto or Picasso for running round in !!! . Hope you have loads of fun in your car 🙂
Thank you - I've just had the Picasso back after it's been repaired from becoming poorly shortly after this video was made (long story!), and enjoying driving about in the very airy cabin
In the end, the Picasso didn’t make it on the trip, as it started not enjoying starting. But there’s a video of him doing a charity challenge in it here th-cam.com/video/iaca9wYswEw/w-d-xo.html

Good to see #pass the Picasso some love now at 508008 miles
Good to see this legendary car receiving some TLC!
Thank you so very much! It had more care in one day with you then we gave it over the last couple of years with us… but we were too busy driving it!

Ahhh perhaps you’re right. Maybe it’s cursed since I stuck that on!

Oh wow, great to hear of another high mileage hero Picasso
Massive improvement. Hopefully those seats will be completely dry by the time Jim arrives. ;-)
Fantastic car, what a good job you did - Thanks a lot
Cambourne! I was there last weekend, as a friend of mine has recently moved to the area. Nice place :)
Yup, Cambourne indeed. Has the cheapest jet wash around me!
@@MorselsAndMotors I'll bear that in mind, as I'm probably going to be a regular visitor to the area for at least a couple of years :)
Very nice job, Sion!
Cleaned up nicely, nice job and it looks smart aside from the # things. Hands down the worst sounding stereo I've ever had in a car though.
Really enjoyed this one!
Enjoyed the video, well done and thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊
Great job on this epic car
Just 3 d print the knob on the radio.
No problem 🎉
Huge improvement, congrats!
Thank you

I have a 2003 only did 36k when I got hope it does that mileage here in spain. Is there a video of Jim's travels

you did a great job on the picasso sion
Did you get the air con working then? As think in another video you said you had been told it didn't.
I’m not sure to be honest: it wasn’t warm enough to test it out when I had the car. HubNut has it at the moment
do you know where the plug is for door water drain?
Do you know we're is PVC valve
Bang tidy!
I love a cheesy catch-phrase
Ask my boss to use the ramps now and again 😀 I wouldn't mind when I'm running the garage 💪
Oh really? I’d love that 🤩
