Awesome video! Thanks for the review! While it looks shiny and might be good for a "day of" glaze for a show... didn't really seem to pop like I would expect...
Good and honest review, well done! I've got a 2017 silver SUV and I love Adam's Brillant Glaze over a coat or two of Collinite 845. The paint is in brand new condition and what I realise is that the brilliant glaze adds another dimension of gloss to the silver paint and really makes it pop. I'm not a brand fan/follower just feel shame that you didn't get to see the same results I do. Now, I don't throw a coat of BG just after waxing the car. I normally do after a couple of weeks from layering the Collinite on my daily driver. So after 400 miles or so (the car leaves outside) and 2 or 3 Waterless washes the wax loses a bit of pop so throwing a quick, thin layer of BG makes the paint look awesome again. Hope this helps. All the best from England.
JWL Thank You! Maybe I will try it like you suggest a few weeks after waxing. I want it to work and see a difference. I was disappointed but I don’t give up on products easily. So I will try it again in another video. Thanks so much for watching!
The working time seemed very short. The product flashed off after applying it to just a quarter of the panel away from the sunlight. This sounds bad as I always believed that light polishes and glazes should be buffed off before they flash, so maybe keep the microfibre in the other hand ready to remove the product, if you are going to use it again to give it another chance. It didn't seem to leave any residue when buffing, though, so could work well on glass and chrome plated items. Fair product, great honest review and I have just subscribed to this channel after watching a few more of your videos.
Owen Steele Yes the working time is very short! I did it exactly how Adam’s Polishes said to. It works awesome on glass and chrome! In fact my final Escalade video from last week I applied it on the chrome wheels because Adam’s said it worked good on chrome and was blown away! I did another video on my blue Dakota using it and thought it made the Dakota glossier but not enough of a reason to continue buying it. But after applying it to windows and chrome I will buy it again that’s for sure. Welcome to the FAB community and Thank you for your support! Hope to see you on my livestream Saturday night at 9PM EST! We have fun on there.
You should not be disappointed! You polished your paint to perfection, a glaze is desinged to fill in microscratches and licht swirls, therefore the effect of the product is indeed not what you expected because there is nothing to fill! You schould be very proud on how your car looks! If you want to improve the gloss, your only solution is a quality ceramic coating or, if you want to go extreme, wetsanding it. Maybe ty the Adams product on a friends car, who's paint is a little less perfect, i bet you notice a difference! keep up the good work, car look amazing!
Werner Goos Thanks! I recently applied a ceramic coating to the Journey from Adam’s Polishes it looks amazing. I guess I was just hoping to see a big difference like everybody on TH-cam says they see. I have found that it works great on glass and chrome though.
Nice video man. The brilliant glaze does really well on red, black, yellow off the wall colors. What I do is when ready to wax the car I put it under the wax. Then later on every week before I enter a car show I put a coat of brilliant glaze on after I detail spray the entire car of course after it is washed. The shine on Red is incredible and you can really tell the difference after adding Brilliant Glaze. I sometimes skip the glaze and use the buttery wax if I am limited on time. The buttery wax tends to give the red a deep looking wet look. I switch it up sometimes depending on cloudy or sunny. The main wax I use is Patriot Wax or when I am out I use Americana . Combination of these products with brilliant glaze make it look amazing. Of course my 1LE sits in shows so I have to have that impossible shine and Adam's seems to do just that
ZoutlawSS Thank You! I plan on giving it another try on a different color. I don’t give up products like this quickly because i see people like you use it with great success. I just figured since my car stays clean and glossy all the time that’s why I didn’t see a difference. Hopefully once I am done with this Jeep series I can find time to try it again on video. Thanks for your detailed comment and I will try it under my Wax next time.
Great honest review brother! I feel like it made the metal flake pop just ever so slightly more but that just might be the camera. Please do another review of it on some paint that needs some help I would like to see if you could see a difference then.
Good video. What brilliant glaze is it's nothing more than detailer on sterioids but goes on and off easier than wax. It can be used on anything. Paint, glass, chrome, aluminum. It also has micro fillers and lightly fills in temporarily some light swirls and scratches. I've layered it by hand and I've seen fine scratches gradually get less noticeable to almost disappear. Of course this is temporary as it is not correcting. Also, I tend to see it work best on darker cars. On a black car, brilliant glaze made the paint look deeper and blacker. I believe this is due to those micro fillers making those swirls and fine scratches, which tend to make dark paint look more dull. Again per Adam's, its something to put on the day of a show really quick that is better than a detail spray but requires less effort than a wax. And for that purpose it does great. I definitely noticed a difference before and after on by black chevelle.
Great video sir! I use a " glaze " for my shop for the car lot that i detail for because it's only good maybe for like 15 days. But that wax you showed, OH HECK YEA !!!!
Mickey Tesnear I’ve read so many reviews about how great it was. I just didn’t get the results I was expecting. Yeah Liquid Gloss Polywax is a great Wax! Thanks for watching
Justin Bryant Yes it is bit Adam’s Polishes says you can put it on top of wax to give amazing gloss. That’s why I did it this way. It does work great on Glass and chrome.
My favorite glaze is EZ Creme Glaze from Chemical Guys I just used it for the first time about a month ago before a cars and coffee event it's just now starting to wear off. Really does the job of bringing out gloss and making the paint look very deep and wet.
1. Your car was already coated with 2 layers of wax. 2. It says a clean surface, meaning it goes on BEFORE your wax after a polishing. 3. A glaze is made to hide paint imperfections. If you're paint is perfect, then naturally you WONT see its effects.
P A The car had no wax on it so I’m not sure how you even came up with that. According to Adams it can be used on top of or under wax to hide imperfections and boost gloss. They show in their video using it on top of wax to add quick gloss.
IM just simply stating the manner in which you used it wasnt how its supposed to be used. Its to be used AFTER polishing when the paint is bare. THEN a glaze to hide ANY imperfections polishing didnt remove, THEN You apply wax. Your paint was Waxed and perfect to being with. Sort of like how Chemical guys ONLY wash already spotless cars on their videos. And youre like...wait the car was already clean... Im a fan of your videos...just not this one.
Great video thanks brother. I really didn't see a difference. I hope it works better on your other vehicle. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother
ouzo lou Yeab I am hoping it works better on something else. The Jeep I just put the engine in is black so I will probably try it on that. I knew you would like the Polywax. You should get close to a year out of it.
Very nice video. It might be one of those deals where people are used to the local Auto zone wax and they get this and it is like WOW!! Us being used to products like Griot's and so on, it is going to be really hard to get a WOW moment out of us...LOL
Billy Tscherne I agree! It does add a little bit of extra shine but not enough to say it’s an amazing product. It does work well on windows and chrome though.
Felix F I actually don’t see any using it. For the price Of Adam’s products you can get twice as much product through like Malco, Meguairs, Carbrite etc.
I’m with you on glazes. I’ve tried poor boys and Meguiar’s glazes and saw little difference. However- I’ve never tried on a black or really dark color- may be a color thing. Glazes May be more noticeable on single stage paints.
Aj Bentley Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I just finished putting an engine in a Jeep for my wife to drive back and forth to work and it’s black. I will have to try it on that.
You'd probably would have been better off using Nu- finish , at least then you would have had a little bit more protection for the paint , I see no difference in using that Adam's glaze on the vehicle
Marcus Cassius Oh yeah! Actually Toyota and Honda’s we really like and have owned. For some reason all we have right now are Chrysler products. There for a while all we had were Honda’s. I drive whatever gets me from point A to point B!
FAB Automotive Detailing ok, I love Toyota. I drive a RAV4 2018 AND WILL TRADE IT FOR THE BRAND NEW 2019. I BUY TOYOTA FOR ITS RELIABILITY. THEY DONT RUST IN THE FIRST 10 YEARS AND I AM A MANIAC WITH THE DETAILING. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
Marcus Cassius Being a mechanic is why I like Toyota’s so much! Dependability means less work I have to do to my own stuff. But I have always liked Dodges to. Thank you I am glad you enjoy the videos. Join us live tomorrow night at 9PM EST it’s a fun time with car guys and gals.
I used it many times and finally stopped as it doesn't make a difference. Expensive and an extra step turned me off. Better to apply a good coat of carnuba wax.
Awesome video! Thanks for the review! While it looks shiny and might be good for a "day of" glaze for a show... didn't really seem to pop like I would expect...
DSW Joyride Productions Thanks! Yeah I was pretty disappointed but I will try it again on a different vehicle and see what happens.

I’ve been using Gril‘s garage for a while I’m glad you’re doing more videos on Adams polishing trying to get into that too
Griot’s and Adam’s both have good products.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing what ceramic coat did you use? Your car looks great.
Derek Berry It’s Adam’s Polishes Ceramic Coat!
use a polisher to apply rather than hand application. the heat from the friction really helps it do its job!
Channel #1 I thought about that but I wanted to use the product the way Adam’s says to for this review.
makes sense
Totally agree with DSW ! This is something I have used for that quick day of and take the car out to the show. Nice but short life
MojaveKY It does add Gloss that’s for sure! Thanks for watching

Brilliant glaze works great for cleaning the plastic outgassing film from the inside of your windows, particularly the windshield.
Bryan Achee I have heard that before but have not tried it yet but plan to. Thank you for the information
It looks like the glaze side is a bit more glassy than the non glaze side.
JakeM624 A little bit more glossy but nothing to make a big enough difference to run out and buy again.

Frank R o Thanks! I plan on trying it again in the future. I have heard it works great on the inside of windshields.
Frank R would a wax application after a scratch remover/filler be practical for fixing scratch/swirl marks? Or would a spray sealant do that?
Did you know that your older videos that I have watched don't have any ads in them? I just watched 2 of them and neither one had any ads.
They should have ads. I will have to go back and check them. Thanks for the heads up.
I would try it maybe on a stripped panel? Strip wash, maybe even an ipa wipe and do a 50/50 on that
Moises Perez I think I will try that! Thanks

Try Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Shine.
