@shakedown, I think that live has made a lot of improvements but this is not their year yet. Next year they will have 2K by the balls. They are just scratching the surface right now.
I don't understand why you guys are still bashing on NBA Live. Even the animations looks more fluid in NBA Live 16. It looks pretty decent this year but the only problem I can see is that its hard to identify your player. During the game play my eyes were always all over the place because I was trying to focus on one player but couldn't.

This not only looks like a great improvement but, most importantly, fun to play! I like how the positions are balanced so we can cross out some of the more prominent cheese that we endured through 2K15. Just a few more hours!

Nba live 16 is ok. I really enjoyed the online. No lag. I have a more than decent broadband and it's nice to not lag because of someone else's poor internet but..... There's a long way to go if EA wanna be better than 2k. The defense is way worst than 2k imo. A lot of animations slide. It's not horrible but it's not better or close to 2k. But I love the fact EA stepping up it makes 2k have to step they games up. S/o to Shakedown2012 I really enjoy your channel. Great work.
I'm now convinced to get both games, this game may have a few flaws such as the lack of defense or the fact getting buckets is a bit easier but I'm sure with the effort Live put in to compete with 2k, they'll probably do something to fix it. 2k isn't perfect either but they're both improving at a good rate. Also like the pop ups over each players head, which beats out 2k. With the pop up, you can see multiple player stats, like "assist" for 1 player and at the same time "score off assist" for 2nd player. On 2k you'd only see 1 of those stats depending on what player is highlighted.
Face scan looks decent but it's with your phone? So what did we buy the $60 PlayStation camera for? I like the idea of instant match making (fuck "Got Next") & that it puts an A.I. player if you don't have 5 people. Player customization looks great. All the clothes look good except the t shirts. The t shirts look terrible. The signature celebrations is a cool feature. But can we talk about how awkward the gameplay & jumpshot animations look Shake? Idk, Live just still doesn't seem up 2 par 2 me.
Having purchased both games on an off for 6 years you can tell each developer has their own style. Opinions would be a lot less vitriolic if people understood that you shouldn't have the compilation strive to create the exact same game as its counterpart Live looks real fun this year 2k looks really deep this year We, the consumers, prosper!
