That's why my favorite franchise ramen here in Ph is Ippudo, I always order the Shiro Ramen too (which is tonkotsu also kekw). Sadly, I haven't have the chance to taste Ippudo when I went to Asakusa. We went to Ichiran that time, then walking back to our hoteru I suddenly saw Ippudo (in kanji ofc) then I pointed it out to my family. They told me, we will go there the next day but it didn't happen cause we are busy with the itinerary. So what me and my brother and his wife did was to eat ramen on our last day in Asakusa, Coming from Ginza we returned and exited Asakusabashi station and randomly went to a Ramen Shop. We hung our jackets and ate the ramen and it was delicious even though the shop was not that famous, the chef even gave us free rice 😂. I remember my Order was a tonkotsu ramen with additional kikurage, negi and aji tamago. The total cost only 1,200 yen which is still super cheap compared to the ramens here in ph 😂😂😂.

I've been watching your vlogs to find out which Japanese restaurants and ramen shops in the Philippines meet your high standards. Will definitely check them out once I'm back there. I will leave Japan soon and I'm really going to miss authentic ramen like the bowls from Kikanbo and the Hakata ramen in Fukuoka.

I agree with ramen having unnecessary creamy taste in most ramen restaurants here in the Philippines. Thank you for your recommendation. I'll definitely try Ippudo!
It is because many Pinoy ramen shops use instant tonkotsu soup paste and not really make tonkotsu soup from scratch for 12+ hrs. This is also a pet peeve of mine and why I usually go to Ippudo for authentic broth.

And that says a lot when you rate. Japanese food! And to say it's the best ramen in the metro, that's a big thing! I guess this is the best food rating you've ever done! Very successful! Omg, I remember my first few months of having my braces. I think half of my food ends up in between my braces, I had to make weird faces to get them out while eating 😅
@@watanabejun just be prepared to get some tongue sores every now and then. Or better yet, just use a proper tooth pick so you won’t have to make weird faces especially when outside hahaha.. Enjoy your braces journey, Jun-san. You will get used to them soon enough. Look forward to eating more once they’re off 😊
