Miro isn't really made for teaching but it worked well for so far.
For a free alternative, you could try

    or

A few people have asked about how to set up "Phil's game", so there's a tutorial for that at number 9.

Hi there! absolutely love your material, it's been super helpful as I switch to fully online 1-on-1 English tutoring classes. Would you ever be willing to share one of your complete Miro lesson plans? Like the "Little Sheep Week 2" plans or something like that? It helps me so much if I can see a full example of a good lesson plan and then I can adapt it for my needs.
Thanks a million for all your hard work!

Hi. Sorry for the slow reply. I stopped using Miro a while back because in in Japan and there hasnt been much lockdown. My subscription has long since finished and I think that there are better apps out there now.
www.gynzy.com/en/ looks good. explaineverything.com/ too. Im sure there are better ones out there.
      My plan basically went
      1. homework check and give new homework
      2. Phonics book (the all have text books) for 5-10 mins
      3. Game/topic intro activity (try to get them moving here, regardless of age)
      4. Something from the textbook
      5. Game.
With the games I was alternating between wordwall and other online language tools. I was rotating subscriptions to save money.
I did 9 weeks then later 2 weeks of online class. I was really struggling for ideas most of the time. (the lessons weren't super amazing)

Just checked it out. It looks really good! Definitely easier to move between screens and avoid sizing problems. Free too! I just added it to the description

Thank you. I also started using Gynzy. But I wasn't able to manage to do the numbers on the post-it notes as numbers also put another layer on the top.
