    Ava is so content with you Jamie, her feathers all fluffed around her head,lol. Thinking she did really well on her first try. I really hope Jinx aka Bubba,lol, learns to love Ava so they can be friends. There is a British couple that have two Blue and Golds named Mikey and Mia, they are good friends and fun to watch when they fly them. Thanks for sharing, always good to see you.❤️👍

    What a joy to watch! The birds must be so thirsty after"!

      They do work up a thirst. We have portable handheld water dispensers that they drink from in-between flights.

    I really love Ava's fluffy hairstyle❤. It's unbelievable cute.
    I get, that Jinx is very attached to 'his' humans. But I hope He will finally relax, he had to share with Tusa and Comet from the start, after all. So the concept is not all new.
    Best wishes from germany

    Looks like the gorgeous creatures are (not maybe) jealous, but REALLY, REALLY competitive with other birds 🦜🦜 .
    I bet, this occurs in the African & Amazonian wilds too. All the more reason good competition should be taught to human kids too. 😉
    We can learn so much from nature & wildlife.

    Lovely! Curious about the little wing movements at the end, Ava would shrug or jerk her wings; a form of stretching? Also about midway there was a mention about beak growth, they need them trimmed? Love to understand more of the birds' perception; how it differs from humans'. Is flying sort of like jogging for us?

    • @BirdTricks
      @BirdTricks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The wing flaps are a sign of contentment. More common when they are babies but macaws and other parrot species can offer these at all ages. In regards to the beak trims, not all parrots need them trimmed if they are good at chewing up harder woods nature takes care of that. Ava's beak issue is most likely congenital. And, yes! Flying is the BEST form of exercise for a bird! I think more fun than jogging... 😊

    I just got my mom two parakeets and I was wondering how to help them settle into their new cage.

    If you get a macaw from a shelter, would they struggle to fly because they have been caged for a while. The shelter does let them out, but they never fly they just chill on top of their cages. Is its due to them possibly having weak wing muscles?
    I was just curious about that as you guys free flight birds a lot

    Hi, I’m a truck driver, I’ve been thinking about owning a parrot, but I’m not sure if it’s the correct environment for a bird do you think a parrot would be happy just traveling inside a truck, and of course, going out for walks after the drive, do you think it’s sustainable for the burn?

    We just got a pineapple conure for my daughter a couple months ago. He is really becoming attached to me (father). Mainly because I let him hang out on my shoulder. When I go to miss my wife the bird has started to flip out on my shoulder act aggressive and then try’s to bite me even in a fit of rage. I have been immediately putting him in his cage after, but I don’t know if this is the right thing to do. How do we tackle this issue?

      There are many factors that may be at the root of this issue. I would recommend writing into our customer service team for some support at info@birdtricks.com
