उत्तर प्रदेश (Uttar Pradesh) में वाराणसी (Varanasi) दुनिया के सबसे पुराने और आध्यात्मिक शहरों में से एक है। पवित्र गंगा नदी के तट पर स्थित वाराणसी भारत और विदेशों में रहने वाले लाखों हिंदुओं के लिए सबसे अधिक मान्यता वाला तीर्थ स्थल है। पवित्र नदी गंगा में पवित्र डुबकी लगाने के लिए हर दिन लाखों तीर्थयात्री और आगंतुक शहर आते हैं। गंगा नदी के पवित्र जल में लाखों लोगों की इस आस्था को कायम रखते हुए, स्वच्छ गंगा के लिए राष्ट्रीय मिशन- एनएमसीजी (NMCG) ने इसे ठोस कचरे, अनुपचारित सीवेज और अन्य प्रदूषकों से साफ रखने का कर्तव्य निभाया है.

Varanasi has transformed completely.. I visited in Dec 2022 after 10 years and the change is clearly visible. City has become much clean and organised

Yes. I heard that it has become like Goa?? At the time of Christmas there was lot of croud going for cruise to Varanasi, right?? This is awesome. @@amankumar4403 Before commenting be conscious to note atleast that the context is about power/electricity. People awareness can't come by a group of individuals in this matter to put up solar panels in rooftops etc. It needs initial concession and local maintenance parts in the market and labour to repair it.
