you are the man!!!! i attempted this last night. flopped! tried it today. i did a lot better! love the music. i save all your videos to try and attempt them. thank you.
Thanks Shem, I watch all of you video's. I just have a question. I've been told CDC flies, however effective, only last one fish. Is that true? I tie flies, but because of a family illness I have yet to try fishing them so I have no frame of reference. Thanks, All the best to you, Sean
Hi Sean it is defiantly not thru, Cdc flies is very strong flies. But when you have caught a fish you have to clean the fly, by casting it a couple of times into the water, then into the air, to dry it. After you can use it again. Sometimes if it has been a long and hard fish fight ;-) you can dry the fly in Amadou very good for drying flies. and then let it dry for some hours. I hope this explanation gave you the answer. And keep up your tying ;-)
Yes Shem, it has certainly given me the information I desired. I know no fly lasts forever, but one fish on such a beautiful fly just seemed un-just somehow. All the best to you, and I'll kept tying and watching. Sean
