They raised the speed limit up here recently and people with routinely drive 85 mph in poor conditions. Many times, roads don't get cleared up here until after the storm ends.

I’m not a hotsaw guy either we run a 2900 Quadco intermittent with Vancouver Island mount on a LX830E. We’ve run them for about 18 years never bent a ring. Cutting big hardwood in Southwest Va. eastern Kentucky, and northeast Tn. Tri state area all Appalachian mountains steep rough ground. Thing about the 2900 is one cut yeah it’s 30 inches, but we cut three sides on this timber around here all day. Plus with that VI mount you have much more leverage. I think your head would be our next choice. Keep up the good videos man love the channel.

Yeah my dealer wanted me to buy a 2900 but I just didn't like the idea of how big and bulky it is

@@Pullhardlogging I believe it would handle it fine. Our LX830 has plenty of power with it. We started out with a Prentice 720 leveler 20 years ago, then Timbco 445, and 3 different cat 522 up 522B. The first heads had six teeth so we hacked a lot with the Prentice and Timbco.
