- In an unassuming remote town on a coast, a number of people keep disappearing. None of them leave traces and folk started to believe it to be supernatural.
And when the local authorities find themselves in a bind, they relented to calling one special detective. Whether they believed in the supernatural or not, she was their best chance into solving the case.
Enter- Amelia Watson, the Mythos Detective.

Hey, guys! Sadly, I've been way too busy to actually finish the whole episode and I unfortunately don't see myself getting the time to finish it any time soon. But it's been way too long. Man, I like how fluid the animation was for when Gura was getting bodied on the last bit. And the part where Gura Launched Watson to the air to deliver the ground pound. 😩👌🏿

This was surely an animation worth the wait. It really had me craving more of the story. Yet again, another timeline has been discovered.

I honestly had a lot that I wrote for this project. There's certainly just as much story as there is action in the next part and through the next whole episode. I might not be a writer but I'm having fun making these up based off of the HoloEN girls.

Damn this lore is good, love the spooky Noir vibes it has going, perfectly fits both Ame as a Detective and Ina as an Eldritch Priestess, whenever this finally gets a part two will be an amazing day, I'd suggest renaming this series though I inagine that might be why the numbers are low on this video, maybe just focus on the characters or the story for the title, regardless I love your art and animation and your storytelling as well, hell even you original music is great keep up the great work m8!

The fight scene here felt like something in In:Spectre
It's a good video, and I don't have any complaints with the animation quality or the fight choreography, but it's a little wierd to see Ame doing this level of fighting. I mean, not everyone is supposed to be a super good physical fighter. I'd be fine with her being a crack shot with a gun, or her using some sort of clever strategy, such as luring Ina to some place, doing a time stop so she can move out of the way, and then letting there be a massive collapse, but this is just her hitting hard, which takes away her uniqueness. Watching her doing a bunch of kinda standard fighting moves doesn't make her stand out.
I was trying to be subtle but I guess I don't mind pointing things out a bit.
Ame here doesn't "hit hard." She just knows close combat- a very loose interpretation of her being able to deliver a "ground pound." However, she couldn't even overpower Ina when she grabbed her throat so she's still very human. Her tactic was basically to get close enough to administer "Watson concoction" which can weaken even supernatural beings, so she can apprehend them, only using a gun as the very last resort. And there's a big reason she doesn't use any time powers here. I didn't wanna point it out but she doesn't have time powers yet in this story.
Look. I don't know what to tell you, man. I'll make it clear now that this ain't Myth's Bad Ending. I'm telling my own stories about Hololive. And they're more like origin stories. But I will say that I didn't come into this thinking "I have to make everyone stand out." I'm just here to tell a story, plain and simple. And how they fight is an after-effect of the story/lore I thought of. Like how Gura doesn't have a tail? Or how she's not using her trident? Those are also deliberate decisions I made. So I'm sorry, I guess.
@@SenseofNoneYT Oh, speaking of that Watson Concoction, you really could have done a better job of showing it off. I knew Ame did something, but it was impossible to understand what she did.
Anyway, this has nothing to do with myth, or you being too subtle. I don't think Ame should have been fighting like that because there is nothing in Ame's history that suggests she'd be all that good as a fighter. Like, sure confront Ina, get caught, admister drug, but then Ame continues to fight, and she shouldn't really be able to win against Ina, or really be expected to hold her off until Gura shows up. I'd expect her to be trying to find Gura, who would be the muscle of the two.
Hell, she even seems to have a fetish for being beat up on by others. Regardless of her being as strong as the others, the movements she made were more on the superhuman side of things. I think you are trying to twist things, because all you ever do is big fight scenes. They look fine and all, but not every character is some super martial artist. There are different ways of doing conflict.
Anyways that's just my two cents. I'm sure plenty of people like it, I just don't think Ame was the best choice for another fight scene.
@@tomaO2 Except Gura *did* come in when it became apparent that Ina was out of Ame's league. Ame was only ever able to last that long because Ina was weakened but still, she was no match. And even I know myself that the concoction thing might not go over well. I've been making these animations as I'm learning, literally through the years. And some cuts are very outdated.
I just animate what I find cool/fun. As subjective as it is, this is what I find cool. Kinda like how I find Batman cool for standing his own against metahumans and other entities, despite being a mere human. But fight scenes aren't *all* that I like animating. I literally made short animations for funny Mythbreakers scenes, Bae just driving, Sana's farewell, or heck, even just A-chan and Sora having a wholesome moment backstage. But you didn't see those so you're *assuming* big fight scenes are all I ever do.
I digress. Bottom-line: I wouldn't have any other member replace Ame here. This is the story I'm telling. I'm not here to satisfy anyone particularly. Ultimately, I just animate what I think would be fun/cool to do and share it with whoever's interested. I'm not trying to be lore-accurate. I'm portraying my own interpretation- an alternate lore if you will. If you have a different one, then that's great. But it's not mine.
Dude, make your own version if you want. The more fan content, the merrier.

This looks awesome. Did you take real life reference video for your fight scenes? It looks so good Im wondering your process.
I didn't use IRL references for these. It's just straight from imagination.
That said, I think I do have a considerable visual library of character animation and martial arts in my head already that makes it easier for me to come up with sequences and choreography.
