  • We had fantastic weekend with Ryan Young and INTA folks in Washington USA. Mike and Clara hospitality and property is amazing. Weather was spectacular. I was happy to be a part of another successful Ryan’s school. Great opportunity to learn and meet new people. It took me a while to process all footages to make this movie. I am looking forward to hear constructive criticism. If you have any suggestions for the future movies, please feel free to point me in a right direction. Thanks JJ

This is the most easy to understand videos on trials technique here on youtube. Many others don't catch the instruction and demos as well as you have here. Thanks.

I needed all your help and training, a long time ago. When I was learning to ride Trials, I rode a Mick Andrews, Ossa. I only every got to be a medium rider, but it sure was fun. You have a nice way to teach a lot of the basics.

Great filming , really like the videos from MTGA, only constructive criticism is to tone down or ditch the music after video intro; made it really hard to hear the great stuff Ryan was saying at beginning.

Looks cool. Always wanted to learn trials. Even bought a Montesa back in 2002 but never learned to ride. Just took it outside the house got frustrated and gave up. Sold it 6 months after I bought it for half the cost of brand new. I bought it brand new in Rome NY and just gave up. I had motocross experience but couldn't learn to ride trials. I guess I got upset when I advertised a $6000 bike at yhat time for $2500. I couldn't even pay the personal loan off. I just didn't want to look at it anymore. Now I'm sorry. A guy in Laramie Wyoming got a hell of a deal. I just got frustrated and wanted it gone lol. So fast forward to now I'm 59 and too old for trials riding. Absolutely 100% a healthy strong young man's hobby. Oh well too bad. Ended up battling throat cancer which almost killed me twice but I pulled through the 4 surgeries. 3 bags of blood 2 months of recovery and now my wife who means well God bless her she wants to buy me a 2023 gas gas TXT GP 250 brand new! I told her it's too late now too old for off road anything and certainly way too old for a trials bike. Have to face reality it's for young healthy people not old men

I'm JUST starting out my trials life at 56.
YOU my friend have BEATEN the odds and are a survivor.
Buy a cheapo 2010 OR older for next to nothing and PLAY allllll day. If you decide you don't want to - sell it for what it owes you!
      NOTHING LOST.
Why not? You have full support of a loving wife.
      Go do.
      :D

nice video! looks like an amazing class scenario with a great teacher!...slight hopefully constructive criticisms...it would have been cool to have slightly better audio by having a cheap stand alone Tascam Dr-10L with a lav, which would have made for slightly more time to edit but offer really professional audio for Mr. Young's voice recordings, also, the inset videos distracted me more that helped add to the obstacle, and maybe it would have made sense if it was a different camera angle like a GoPro, during the same riders attempts, rather than show more of the different riders attempts....but awesome documentation of a great lesson session and thanks for your efforts in making and posting it!

Awesome! What class are most of these riders in for this class? It looks like intermediate/sportsman?

This school is for every level of rider - that is a beauty about Ryan's courses. We had mostly intermediate riders and new riders. One guy was Expert Support. I have been helping with 8 schools- every time I am learning something new or soak in new information. When your skills improve you will be able to catch more details related to your skills level.

Bummer I did not know that Ryan young came out to the West I just got an electric Motion trials bike. Where do you find the scheduling for these events and how much do they cost to participate in?

Mostly local clubs advertise schools on their FB or main site with competition schedule. inwta.com is most probably planning to do it again next year. I have also notice that Ryan is putting some informations on his site.rypusa.com/trials-school/
