We've reached a point where games are selling BASIC SOUND EFFECTS. This is why I barely spend money on games anymore. Especially now that $70 for a game is becoming normal because people have no principles. I've instead been putting all that money into buying guns and surplus military gear, it's so much more rewarding, and it's almost surpassed video games as my favorite hobby. Which is honestly kind of sad, because video games have been my favorite thing for as long as I can remember.

Keep in mind, they chose the APC556 *AGAIN* for an MW2 inspired bundle. They didnt give us a different AR or anything. Ontop of that, the MP5 isn't dressed up as the MP5K from MW2, when they can definitely make that happen. So not only is the selling point false advertising, but they're giving us another blueprint for a meta weapon to ensure people buy the bundle, aswell as not making an MW2 inspired blueprint.

The magwell isn't much of an issue, as there's civilian models that don't have the lever release, but yeah, some of the small details do bother me as well. Like how could you do that to HK irons? It's definitely because of the Cali laws, but honestly some of these just don't seem right, and probably could've been handled better. It also does very much hurt me when the APC556 is mistaken for an ACR, but you can't necessarily blame them, as IW saw it fit to give us another B&T weapon, and have attachments that make it somewhat resemble the ACR.

That is indeed something we desperately need in MW2. More maps, more weapons. Especially in the 6v6 multiplayer, more maps are needed. Perhaps the return of ol' faithful Nuketown. More weapons as well, there were some great ones in the previous games. Examples: M1911, FN FAL, Famas, USP, SVD Dragunov, M82 Barrett, AA12, Spas-12, L86, Uzi, M60, Beretta M9 to name a few modern classics. There might be room for a few WW2 or Wild West weapons. Another revolver would be quite fun to have, perhaps a Peacemaker or Chiappa Rhino. Edit: I forgot to mention the H&K G36. Personally, I think that would be an excellent choice for MW2. It's well balanced, futuristic looking, and versatile. Similar to the M4, you can turn the G36 into different weapons. A marksman rifle, a LMG, shorter barrel, drum magazines, futuristic carry handle sights, underbarrel grenade launcher.

They are the same sounds nearly, i can tell the ran it through an audio engine and made them higher quality, which is why the sounds have more harmonics/lower end of the spectrum. Older games had a limit on what frequencies and bits they could use for the sounds so they were defintitely shaved down. I suggest these are the raw sound effects no?
You know what game did the classic sounds things right? RE4 remake, on my second playthrough with the classic sounds and man is it a trip to hear things I used to have so ingrained in my conscience

I actually think it's fitting considering modern warfare 2 was where a lot of the current anti-consumer ideals around DLC were generated. I would know this it's literally when I started complaining about how DLC would get to this point it was their first map pack.

It sounds different because of improved Audio Technology. Let's face it the sound will not be as crappy as the older MWs however it's still very similar. Difference in firerates could also play a role as the ISO seems to fire quite slower than the ACRs

You all mf really be asking for the game to be downgraded while these developers are making high quality detailed game. You all dont understand how this will effect future games. Im not saying micro transcation is good in anyway, but what im trying to say is if these developers see you all crying for things like OG stuff the whole time, the next game will be mw3 PS3 sold to you with same old gen quality and all for 60$ on current gen because you gotta think how these peoples especially the higher ups think in these companies. It will be easier for them to do that and you people are encouraging it.

fun fact:mw19 had the possibility of unlocking other reticles on sights by doing challenges,mw2022 now the custom reticles are locked behind bundles microtransactions,we getting less and less things and paying more and more 👍

I actually think it's fitting considering modern warfare 2 was where a lot of the current anti-consumer ideals around DLC were generated. I would know this it's literally when I started complaining about how DLC would get to this point it was their first map pack.

@@gripz9387 That's what they modeled the weapon in-game. They based the weapon after the Magpul Masada. They corrected it in the Remastered Version with the newer Remington ACR.
Honeslty with I’ll do respect I’m a bit burnt out on everyone getting pissed and dogging on a company/game franchise that we all know is in a bad position because they continue to do dumb stuff. While it is good that we don’t forget about it so we can make sure that this kind of thing doesn’t happen in the future-it’s getting tiring. It may be a scam but at the end of the day, the guns and maps are free. No loot boxes, I could care less about bundles or that the latest pack is a scam. Just my opinion not saying it’s ok it’s not but eh 😂
I honestly would rather have Loot boxes with the chance of unlocking paid content alongside normal progression than microtransactions

After all the shit I see coming out of this train wreck of a game - the exorbitant price tag, plethora of bugs and glitches, neverending microtransactions, and so on - I am still glad that I haven't bought a game in this franchise since Black Ops 2. What a crying shame that Call of Duty has fallen so low as an IP. Good God in Heaven.
It sounds different because of improved Audio Technology. Let's face it the sound will not be as crappy as the older MWs however it's still very similar. Difference in firerates could also play a role as the ISO seems to fire quite slower than the ACRs

I think except that Ghost skin they sold us I think 3 times at this point, I’m okay with some recycled content or concepts, it’s kinda a neat idea as well to sell gunshot audio from OG games, really I think it’s alright, I only oppose the DMZ bonus stuff, that just should not be a thing

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like it. Judging by how the MP5 sounds they probably just replaced the main punch sound and all the extra layers are screwing with it.

It's a little jarring for me to see everyone complaining about sound effects, when I've been playing with the volume turned off for months. It's just better to have music, or someone talking about a game in the background.
