As a Raps fan from Toronto I can tell you without a doubt Pascal is gonna be a great player in Indy. Pascal can score 20 in his sleep. He’s 6’9 and can bring the ball up the floor, and is a matchup nightmare. He can literally guard all 5 positions and play all 5 if need be. He’s really good at backing guys up who are smaller and getting easy buckets.

Heck in 2011 and 12 they were so close to making the finals because of the team they built around by drafting almost everyone. This team has Myles Turner and Mathurin 2 of there top 4 players drafted by Indiana.
Siakam averaged 19.8 pts, 7.5 boards and 3.7 assists in that 2019 final. He was definitely the second best player in that final for the Raps. A great couple games doesn’t change that from Lowry.

Those teams with him and DeMar were really good for a really long time, and I thought Kyle was actually the better player. Pascal's never had that kind of success as the star player.

Versus the 76ers last night and the Pacers finally gelling, we got our first look at the Turner/Siakam matchup nightmare. The Sixers didn't know what to do with them. Embid couldn't guard Siakam and Turner was open 90% of the night. When Haliburton comes back you have a 6'7" point guard, a 6'8" power forward, and a 6'11" center that can all easily and consistently score 20 points each a night. That is hard to beat when you add in the depth of Indiana's bench.
In a few years when you look at the upcoming draft selection order, every 1st round listing will have a 'from this team' listed after the actual team as none of them will own their own 1st round picks.

Last season, before Hali got hurt. We moved into 4th for a hot minute. Hali went down, and so did the Pacers. We've been beating top teams without him this year, though. When he's 100% and gets comfortable playing with Siakam, watch out! Super deep bench and great chemistry too. Don't sleep on the Pacers.

Siakam is a very good fit for the Pacers. Raptors play on the slower side of things, and we all know Siakam is a run & gun type of player. He'd have a premier PG in Haliburton to feed him open looks, and he won't have to play small-ball center with Turner and Jalen Smith in Indiana. Does this make them contenders? No. He doesn't necessarily solve all their problems defensively. But it does make them a whole lot better as a whole, especially on offense. Haliburton's trajectory to becoming the GOAT PG in the league just became closer to reality

Siakam is a very good fit for the Pacers. Raptors play on the slower side of things, and we all know Siakam is a run & gun type of player. He'd have a premier PG in Haliburton to feed him open looks, and he won't have to play small-ball center with Turner and Jalen Smith in Indiana.
Does this make them contenders? No. He doesn't necessarily solve all their problems defensively. But it does make them a whole lot better as a whole, especially on offense.

@@jjsukraj just because you're number 1 in fastbreak points, doesn't mean you play fast. That just means you get a lot of fastbreak points.
'Pace' is the better measure for how fast a team plays, since it highlights the number of possessions a team gets per 48 minutes. That's indicative of how fast you shoot in the shotclock, how many offensive rebounds you get per possession, how little/plenty freethrows you take/make versus your entire score, and fastbreak shot attempts (including fastbreak points).
