In this video, I'm discussing the world of anonymous LLCs and whether or not they should be part of your business setup.
Anonymity in your business structure can have significant advantages, but it’s not always the right choice for every situation.
Let’s break down when you might want to use an anonymous LLC and when it might be better to opt for a more transparent setup.
If privacy, protection from harassment, and asset security are priorities for you, an anonymous LLC might be the right choice. However, always stay informed about local regulations and consult with a legal expert to make the best decision for your situation.

Is it possible to talk to someone from the Tacoma WA office directly?
I’ve been watching this channel since high school, I find legal structures beautiful and fascinating. I’m not yet at a point in life where these concepts are applicable to me but I know someday the knowledge I’ve learned here is gonna save my ass.
Are you implying I am now old? 😂😂😂. Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much for always bringing clarity. See you in Dallas in a few weeks!!
Thanks Clint, this was great information and very helpful .
Glad it was helpful!
I'm glad I found your channel sir. You're so informative.
Glad to hear it
Good info, especially about an active LLC
Glad it was helpful
great video, thanks!
Keep droping these videos they are quite informative
Thanks, will do!
Thanks a lot.
Would an anonymous LLC hinder me from getting business credit cards or similar unsecured business credit? Thanks.
Yes. I have a video coming out soon on this topic.
Great value as always: Would appreciate an in depth video about on pitfall of using an anonymous llc for rentals where you need to prove ownership during an eviction! Are there any work around documents like affidavits one could use to show/prove further ownership?
When you bring an unlawful detainer action, you would not have to prove LLC ownership because an attorney is required to initiate the action.
I think it's too late for the company part. Perhaps I can still use it for my real estate in the future.
With the new Beneficial Ownership Information reporting due by January 2025, are we able to use an Irrevocable Common Law Trust and not have to report ownership information? Also, would we have to provide ownership information if we placed an LLC inside an Irrevocable Common Law Trust?
Unfortunately, no. You will need to report.
So doesnt the new BOI reporting effectively destroy or significantly weaken these LLC structures?
I heard the BOI is already being challenged in court.
With new beneficial ownership info how do we protect ourselves from anonymity or our Wyoming LLC if we need to disclose our info? We bought homes in CA and Anderson is setting up the LLC with the owner is Wyoming LLC but we still have to submit the owners info?
Yes, but this information is not shared nor is it public, so your anonymity will remain intact.
Thank you so much for all your work you do. How about BOI form? Since we have to submit this it is no longer anonymous, isn’t it?
You still have anonymity. The information submitted is not available to the public.
Only the
Fincen Feds will know...for better or worse
You said anonymity for holding assets and you mentioned rental real estate, flipping , or savings accounts. Then you mentioned if you are running an active business not to use anonymity. However, rehabbing and flipping real estate is an active business technically. So is that one of those that could go either way?
Correct. It would depend in you wanted the business associated to you
Is it advisable to setup an anonymity for Rental Arbitrage, if the sole intention is to earn passive income and the company will be managed by a thrid-party?
I would because you are still dealing with tenants.
What can I do now? Or is it too late?

Will the new BOI report be public so people see your name?
No
