Hi kenneth I have been hearing your videos since last few months. I somehow felt the urge to ask you the question : What good is for me to get certificates, degrees, success in this world, charity, doing good, being nice ? Are they all stories? Or just energy? Is there any importance to doing good finacially or academically or in family life ? What is the best way to channelize energy?
I'm not sure whether Kenneth responds to questions here after the livestream. But I've been bingewatching his videos lately and can try to give a response I think he would give based on similar questions (all of that is a story of course): There is no purpose whatsoever, so all of what you mentioned is a story (doing good, success, degrees etc. - What is success even? Even logically it can be seen that that's just story and different for every apparent person). But there's no wrong or right with any of that - it's just what's happening. And there is no way to "channelize energy" or something like that - all there is is energy. Man, I watched to many of those videos apparently haha. But that's just what's happening as well, no choice in that (:
The character doesn’t really vanish into pure void or anything once this is seen. In all likelihood, the same preferences, desires for getting a degree, etc. will remain, just become transparent. The character can want to go to work and school in the same way it wants to eat food. I’ve heard some characters say that their desire to work drops away; depends on brain conditioning. But everything is its own point, so to speak; nothing here is making any claims about the value/non-value of a character’s lifestyle. [Note that the “character” isn’t a thing, just a pattern.] 💙
Question: So, "normally" i consider "myself" as the center of the universe and all is around me. When this sense of center falls away, is it that there's only the (for example) door, thus there's no consiousness?. Some people say "the door and you and one", and i suppose you can't even say it like that, right (cuz there's no one to merge with the door already)? Thanks Ken.
I struggle with these questions too...if it's all just boundless energy perceiving boundless energy, where is the sense of subjectivity? It seems to me that subjectivity -- as the capacity to simply be aware -- is the only absolute. In that way, there's not two. The knower and the known are the same.
