nobody seems to care about the internet censorship we have in China, but they will care when it finally arrives in their home too, but then it'll be too late

I think our main goal today is to make all Chinese people can use VPN.
The VPN companies should do a hard work on it.

I will never understand people who want to give up the right to free speech. It's so lucky that we live under governments who are forced to allow people to speak freely.

Sorry but we don’t have free speech anymore. I would say they are more free in China than us here in the US guys. We are not even able to watch Russian media owing to the systematic banning. We aren’t even allows you know the official speeches of Lavrov - out of bounds. In China they have access to more diverse information and readily read the Wall St Journal as well as media from all around the world without the extraordinary censorship (including Assange etc) that we’re repressed with.

In China they censor text messages of Tienanmen square and ban you from practicing unapproved government religions

I don't know if you still think that way, if you come to live in China, you will understand. This is the land of depressing surveillance. People here live under high pressure, with a firewall separating us from the rest of the world, but not like Germany. The vast majority of us don’t even know the wall exists.@@NoreenHoltzen

I don't know if you still think so. If you come to live in China, you will understand. This is a frustrating place to watch. People here live under high pressure and there is a firewall that separates us from the rest of the world, but not like Germany. The vast majority of us don’t even know the wall exists.
I noticed you mentioned the Wall Street Journal, which is untrue. People in China can't even open the Wall Street Journal's website.

Thanks, I finally know how they manage to filter the internet. Is there any possibility EUs planned DNS-service could go into that direction or do we simply have too much connections to the global net?
