Through ep 2 i realize how mature he is when dealing with arising problems and looking at a big picture intead of focusing on his own. I'm also furious at the way they chose him as a center in the first place and get it rid of him ungratefully later and then back to him after a training with Bi Rain. Like, I dont like the way he teaches choregraphy then Niki should be more appropriate but hey, Bi Rain said Niki had troubles with pitch then maybe HeeSeung is still a better option. I know that they have been working with each other for just two weeks and there will be lots of things to learn to work together effectively but... I'm sad and mad at the same time...

im actually so frustrated at how they all chose Heesung for part 1 but then tossed him around when they saw how "different" and "strict" his way of training is. Heesung's dance style is really good because his moves are tight and powerful. Strong, definite movement. He always stands out because he is so exact and clean. It's obvious he is at the top.
Jay tried every part and even though the gets humiliated everytime he doesn't get picked he gets over it and tries again. Sunghoon looking for heesung when other trainees doesn't seem to care. Heesung, even though he wants the part, told everyone he wouldn't do it if niki does not want to. That's it. That's the comment.. Come on guys let's debut✊

I don’t think I ever forgave Youngbin for complaining about Heeseung in the first episode and getting him kicked off to 10th position. Ever since then, I haven’t liked anything he’s done in any performance. I’m too bias and like Heeseung too much.
WARNING: ESSAY AHEAD. heeseung is a natural leader. everyone was talking about what part they wanted, so they could show their INDIVIDUAL skills. but heeseung, he was thinking for the ENTIRE TEAM. he was fully aware of the time constraint, so he thought there's no room for different opinions clashing, but still, he asked for everyone's thoughts. he listened to and respected them. he knew that everyone's skills were not equal, so he changed the parts he thought would give others a hard time. he wanted everyone to learn the choreo in the most efficient way possible. and how come nobody noticed the way he criticized them? IT WAS CONSTRUCTIVE. he was honest yet so careful not to hurt anyone. he saw that youngbin had great potential but did not do so well bc he wasn't confident, so it showed in the way he danced. i know certain words leave a diff level of impact on diff ppl, but that was a constructive criticism. he didn't say he was lacking in skills, he simply said he needed to have confidence. he wanted youngbin to feel good about himself. heeseung just wanted everything to work out for everyone. is that so wrong? heeseung already said in the beginning that his purpose in making them dance solo in front of everyone was to evaluate them and point out their mistakes (not to judge their skills), so they wouldn't stand out negatively from the rest. it's called "nipping sth in the bud." rain even said the same thing: it's best for an athlete to make mistakes in front of the coach, so they can be corrected. they were in SO MUCH MORE pressure when rain was evaluating them, but none of them broke down, called him out, and asked to change the mentor lmao. i understand that because they think highly of rain. he's already an established artist, so he knows what he's doing. but heeseung? oh, poor he. he's just "one of them," so the others' immediate impression was that once he makes them feel bad, he's already a bad leader. double standards? heh. rain & heeseung may be on different levels for now, but their philosophy as leaders is the same: "diamonds are formed under pressure." if you can't handle pressure, then work on it. you're there to learn and not to be babied. this is only the beginning, what more would happen to you if you go out into the real industry? it doesn't get any easier than that. i hope they'll realize how selfless & considerate heeseung was to set aside his desire to show off his skills for the sake of the team. everyone initially voted him as the center, he could've used that opportunity to shine on his own. We don’t see much of him in the full version but still Hee Seung has the highest views😂 and that speaks for itself that people noticed him and came looking for him. When I first saw this show on viki he was the only one that catch my attention. All the haters out there don’t recognise a pure talent. This guy was born with it and that is a FACT. He’s got the looks the voice and the moves and him being humble by nature is priceless.

Youngbin feeling humiliated by him and running to other ppl to side with him cuz he couldn't tell him himself was a low move imo. it ain't his problem if you lack confidence. He did what he thought would help the entire team improve esp when no one was stepping up to be the leader. AND the whole thing was his suggestion, the ppl who hated it could've said no. Though I agree that the og choreo shouldn't be adjusted, he only did it cuz the other members couldn't keep up and thought changing a few moves would make it easier for them. ALSO someone should've told him earlier instead of talking behind his back 🙄
Moreover I think that if Youngbin lacks so much confidence, being an idol will be hard for him because he will be in the spotlight. By doing what Heesung did, it can actually bring you to think that "you are used to it" and so, act naturally and become more confident.

He got the most lines in ‘into the I land’ studio version (30 seconds+). He was also the centre for ‘fire’ performance. He got the most lines (a whole minute) in ‘i&credible’ studio version. This just proves he’s a talented vocalists and is gonna debut as main vocalist. He’s also gonna be part of the dance line most likely. Also, he will probably end up as leader and maybe have the centre position.

I think we can all agree that heesung is leader material that only wants the best for everyone and has what it takes to help his team. I was honestly surprised to see people criticizing his was of leading because I honestly thought he was really nice compared to the real trainee world. If they can't take the heat inside I-LAND, then then are not ready for what's coming next. There are trainees that would stopp at nothing and would like to take their spot.

Yep, after seeing all the solo cams of each iLanders, Heesung killed this one. His facial expressions are on point and damn his stare really sold it. This is what I always want to see in every performer, a gaze that demands attention. Having skill and talent at dancing and singing is one thing but exhibiting an aura and presence that demands attention on stage is a whole different thing. For me, that’s what makes a real performer. Heesung still hasn’t fully bloomed yet but he’s definitely on the right track on getting there. It’s like when the camera’s not focusing on you doesn’t give you an excuse not to give it your all. As long as you’re on stage you don’t stop performing your best though the focus is not on you anymore. Upon knowing the “center” drama and having many people at Heesung’s side, I thought that the issue may cloud people’s decision and overpraise him. Boy, I was freakin wrong. This fancam showed why he should’ve gotten the job. Yes, Niki’s (please don’t hate this young boy) exemplary in dancing but he’s still so inexperienced and young. Heesung exhibits maturity and has great understanding with this whole team dynamics. Hope everything goes well to every iLander and grounder, but imma root for my boy Heesung more.

Heesung is a kid who is talented yet humble. The other i-landers might not understand his way, but I know he did it with everyone in mind. His only mistake was lack of communication. Despite this, he was mature enough to accept whatever decision the team came up with and did his best. His initiative to lead first and break the awkwardness is highly commendable. I’ll be rooting for you, fighting!
I am binge watching Heeseung performances again and let me just say, he had one line but I enjoyed his whole performance. He did amazing throughout everything even if he was not in the center or one of the main parts. He stood out even if he was not suppose to during this stage. I really love his leadership skills. He is very humble and slows everyone to have a say in decisions

If they had a problem with Heeseung changing a bit the choreo, they should’ve told him right away. Instead, they all talked about their concerns behind Heeseung’s back without him even knowing that his teammates didn’t like what he was doing. In the end, the trainees did tell Heeseung what they thought but they did it all at once and it was too much to take in. I can imagine how surprised Heeseung must’ve been when he heard this, since they didn’t tell him about it before edit: this comment is getting noticed so i’m going to share my thoughts on Heeseung’s way of evaluating here too Heeseung most likely learned that way of evaluating when he was training at BigHit. He just wanted to use this method to improve his team, but it seems like the trainees couldn’t manage to adapt. I’m curious to how Sunghoon and Jay were reacting to all of this, since they were BigHit trainees, they probably could understand what Heeseung was trying to do. I’m saddened that specially these two didn’t stand up for Heeseung, maybe they did but it was cut out though. (edit: my bad, sunghoon actually stood up for him. i guess i missed that part while watching the episode)
I clearly remember who talked behind his back first and mocked his ability saying it's amateurish, K and Niki. I just admire how Sunghoon appreciates Heesung's leadership.

Bighit really has this image of team first before self..you can clearly see that from their group like BTS and TXT..and Heesung really embraces that attitude..even Jay who really never gives up..Skills can be honed but attitude is more importnt. Bighit has eyes on that

heesung for me is the most deserving to maintain his position in i-land. he wasn't selfish as he thought of the "team" first - having been put into center as recommendation of other trainees and having been it been taken away from him because they didn't like his way of teaching, he accepted their criticisms, strived to become better even though he had a single line for the song and when the other trainees asked that if he could be the center again he wholeheartedly said that he won't be doing it if niki would still continue being the center. his personality just shines through and through!!!
For the past episodes of ILAND, Heeseung shows us that he can be a leader who makes mistakes and learn from it, after that he became the center of "fire" and proves us that he really suit the center. Heeseung also proves us that he is not talented in just dancing but also in singing, when he sang the butterfly my ears are in heaven its so good to hear, his voice is not for trainee but for idol already. And lastly Heeseung has a pure heart that he even give up his part to Jungwon so that Jungwon would have a high score... See? Everyone, Heeseung is ready to debut, his skills and everything is already an idol. Please keep supporting Heeseung till the end!!!

Don't be, because of this event, it only proves that he's matured enough to handle things like this plus we saw the other side of him, the side that not just a talented young man but also a person who got a big understanding heart.. And a personality that can lead in the future.. So its okay for now atleast, cause I'm still bitter of what happen to him. heeseung is a natural leader. everyone was talking about what part they wanted, so they could show their INDIVIDUAL skills. but heeseung, he was thinking for the ENTIRE TEAM. he was fully aware of the time constraint, so he thought there's no room for different opinions clashing, but still, he asked for everyone's thoughts. he listened to and respected them. he knew that everyone's skills were not equal, so he changed the parts he thought would give others a hard time. he wanted everyone to learn the choreo in the most efficient way possible. and how come nobody noticed the way he criticized them? IT WAS CONSTRUCTIVE. he was honest yet so careful not to hurt anyone. he saw that youngbin had great potential but did not do so well bc he wasn't confident, so it showed in the way he danced. i know certain words leave a diff level of impact on diff ppl, but that was a constructive criticism. he didn't say he was lacking in skills, he simply said he needed to have confidence. he wanted youngbin to feel good about himself. heeseung just wanted everything to work out for everyone. is that so wrong?
heeseung already said in the beginning that his purpose in making them dance solo in front of everyone was to evaluate them and point out their mistakes (not to judge their skills), so they wouldn't stand out negatively from the rest. it's called "nipping sth in the bud." rain even said the same thing: it's best for an athlete to make mistakes in front of the coach, so they can be corrected. they were in SO MUCH MORE pressure when rain was evaluating them, but none of them broke down, called him out, and asked to change the mentor lmao. i understand that because they think highly of rain. he's already an established artist, so he knows what he's doing. but heeseung? oh, poor he. he's just "one of them," so the others' immediate impression was that once he makes them feel bad, he's already a bad leader. double standards? heh.

real talk: he wasn't a bad leader. Youngbin feeling humiliated by him and running to other ppl to side with him cuz he couldn't tell him himself was a low move imo. it ain't his problem if you lack confidence. He did what he thought would help the entire team improve esp when no one was stepping up to be the leader. AND the whole thing was his suggestion, the ppl who hated it could've said no.

Actually changing a bit of choreo is fine. Jhope and jimin does that, according to Jin when some couldn't cope uo, they changed it into easier steps.
Moreover I think that if Youngbin lacks so much confidence, being an idol will be hard for him because he will be in the spotlight. By doing what Heesung did, it can actually bring you to think that "you are used to it" and so, act naturally and become more confident.

But don’t worry because in official Into the ILand song (Studio version) , Heeseung sung all the adlibs and sing many parts of the song. Majority of the parts of the son g was sung by Heeseung. Mnet posted it and also Bighit label. Producers still chose Heeseung to sing the majority of the song. The performance version is different from the official version of Applicants. You can find their official version in spotify and apple music
He got the most lines in ‘into the I land’ studio version (30 seconds+). He was also the centre for ‘fire’ performance. He got the most lines (a whole minute) in ‘i&credible’ studio version.

Yep, after seeing all the solo cams of each iLanders, Heesung killed this one. His facial expressions are on point and damn his stare really sold it. This is what I always want to see in every performer, a gaze that demands attention. Having skill and talent at dancing and singing is one thing but exhibiting an aura and presence that demands attention on stage is a whole different thing. For me, that’s what makes a real performer. Heesung still hasn’t fully bloomed yet but he’s definitely on the right track on getting there. It’s like when the camera’s not focusing on you doesn’t give you an excuse not to give it your all. As long as you’re on stage you don’t stop performing your best though the focus is not on you anymore.
Upon knowing the “center” drama and having many people at Heesung’s side, I thought that the issue may cloud people’s decision and overpraise him. Boy, I was freakin wrong. This fancam showed why he should’ve gotten the job. Yes, Niki’s
(please don’t hate this young boy) exemplary in dancing but he’s still so inexperienced and young. Heesung exhibits maturity and has great understanding with this whole team dynamics. Hope everything goes well to every iLander and grounder, but imma root for my boy Heesung more.

I am binge watching Heeseung performances again and let me just say, he had one line but I enjoyed his whole performance. He did amazing throughout everything even if he was not in the center or one of the main parts. He stood out even if he was not suppose to during this stage. I really love his leadership skills. He is very humble and slows everyone to have a say in decisions

If they had a problem with Heeseung changing a bit the choreo, they should’ve told him right away. Instead, they all talked about their concerns behind Heeseung’s back without him even knowing that his teammates didn’t like what he was doing. In the end, the trainees did tell Heeseung what they thought but they did it all at once and it was too much to take in. Heeseung most likely learned that way of evaluating when he was training at BigHit. He just wanted to use this method to improve his team, but it seems like the trainees couldn’t manage to adapt. I’m curious to how Sunghoon and Jay were reacting to all of this, since they were BigHit trainees, they probably could understand what Heeseung was trying to do. I’m saddened that specially these two didn’t stand up for Heeseung, maybe they did but it was cut out though. (edit: my bad, sunghoon actually stood up for him. i guess i missed that part while watching the episode)

I don't exactly hate him too, I admire his dancing ability. He's still young and this is just the 1st test, I hope he'll change lol. He seems selfish.
on this episode they weren't just tested for their skills but also of what they're willing to do for the sake of the whole group. i know they're young, some are even younger and each of them wanted to be the center but for the group to work you must learn how and when to put aside your personal interest for the sake of the whole group and this young man here gained my respect. rooting for him to debut.
Bighit really has this image of team first before self..you can clearly see that from their group like BTS and TXT..and Heesung really embraces that attitude..even Jay who really never gives up..Skills can be honed but attitude is more importnt. Bighit has eyes on that

Everyone in I-land literally didn't let him be centre coz they didn't like his way of teaching/coaching.....but I think having a good and capable centre for team is more imp then any of the individual discomfort
But even his coaching style was so accurate like he was trying to make each and everyone perfect in their dance....ofcourse some would be less confident but that only tells you where you actually stand

its kind of sad how some of them didnt approach him and talked about their discomfort about his coaching style, instead they just came together (all of them) like that after talked behind his back, this is too bad, at least for me. they should've just talked to him personally instead of doing that. maybe because they're too young, but idk its kind of sad, heesung looked so sad and lonely because of them coming together like that. he feels like everyone dislikes him:(((

heesung for me is the most deserving to maintain his position in i-land.
he wasn't selfish as he thought of the "team" first - having been put into center as recommendation of other trainees and having been it been taken away from him because they didn't like his way of teaching, he accepted their criticisms, strived to become better even though he had a single line for the song and when the other trainees asked that if he could be the center again he wholeheartedly said that he won't be doing it if niki would still continue being the center.

multi fandom he wasn’t pushed out as a center. He was first picked by everyone to be number 1 but he sacrificed the top spot to niki so everyone have a chance to shine. He even said “If everyone wants me to be the center I’ll do it but I won’t do it unless niki agrees” (something like that) he’s basically a great leader tbh. He still has a long way but he has a very bright future ahead of him. I just know that he can debut.

And a personality that can lead in the future.. So its okay for now atleast, cause I'm still bitter of what happen to him. But lets not just look the negative side, there's a lot good stuff awaits to him and to us who decided to wait for his debut..
