Taki is the one who should be eliminated ( I'm not hating, I just said based on the result ). Geonu has the vocal, and he's a great dancer. He's one of the most stable trainee there. He's only problem is that he just need to improve the way he intepret ( I'm not sure if that is the right word or no ) the song. He's facial expression and his emotion while performing the song.

Geonu expressed the emotions of I Need U just fine. At least to me(over the obnoxiously loud backtrack audio volume), everyone expresses a certain emotion differently. To put a single emotion into a certain category of how to express it is absurd. Geonu(& Daniel) both showed a similar emotional expression which resulted them to be similar in scores. They both expressed extreme desperation which suited the song really well so I was confused.

Jungwon and Sunghoon definitely caught my eye in this performance. As of right now, I’m rooting for Heeseung, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jake, Youngbin, EJ, Hanbin, and Jungwon.

Yes and the fact that he thought he was better since he danced better was such a wrong way of thinking. Jimin and hobi for example are more skilled than jungkook yet jungkook is incredible at every aspect and is good at being the center and bringing balance and you’d never see Jimin and hobi getting greedy. From the first episode jungwon and geonu were my favorites! I was so sad geonu got eliminated. I’m pushing for jungwon so hard now. Hoping for the best 🤞
Tbh, Heeseung could make a really good leader and a center.. all those who thought that his way of teaching is plain and “humiliating” should know that being an idol is not always a flowery path. Besides, his way of teaching wasn’t even that horrifying nor did he make fun of anyone to get all upset. Plus, Niki was already eyeing the center position and all of them, including K, suggested Heeseung for the center position, knowing that Niki wanted the center. And when Heeseung started teaching, they talk behind his back. I strongly believe that Niki was manipulated into thinking that Heeseung’s method of teaching wasn’t up to their standards. K and Seon were the ones he was hanging out with most of the time and K and Seon ganged up against Heeseung after voting him for the center. And when Heeseung gave up his part, they didn’t even care to vote for others and just straight away voted for Niki. I am NOT blaming Niki here, because I strongly believe that the boy couldn’t have taken all those decisions himself without anyone pushing him to do so. For god’s sake, he is just 15 and I wouldn’t blame him for what he did. It’s just natural for him to want to be noticed, like everyone else. That’s why I respect Heeseung a lot now, because even though he wanted to be the center, he put the team above him. And I am not hating on Seon or K, but what they did to Niki and Heeseung doesn’t match the behavior of a true idol. They shouldn’t have talked behind his back like that. But again, we don’t know the whole story or what might’ve happened behind the cameras to totally blame them either. All in all, Heeseung deserved the center because of his vocals and dance and Niki is kinda like the “main dancer” material. Again, i am not hating on anyone, these are just my opinions.
If you notice they never really asked NiKi if he still wanted to be center after the midway evaluation (unless they edited it out cuz it's mnet) and they kept saying they should tell Heesung as soon as possible that they don't agree with his teachings but just kept delaying it. Also watching other shows a lot of the time they practice the same way (being singled out is to fix the issue you may not see while practicing as a group). They also only evaluated NiKi's dance skill while not taking vocals into consideration. Edit: apprarently in the live stream they did show they did ask, I don't watch the live stream so I didn't know

i agree🥺🥺 he really took part 10 just so the team can “do good”. he gave up his own practice time just so he can teach the other members . although it’s sad how the other guys thought he was “doing it in his own way.” if the members were able to communicate with each other (cause i know they’re still awkward with each other) then maybe heeseung would be able to teach them WHILE considering their opinions . i think if they did that they could’ve gotten a better result :((((

Midhat Fatima its a survival show, in the beginning there were 23 trainees but only 7 one can debut, so they have to go through many tests by the judges and global votes, then only 7 best of them can debut

geonu and jungwon hard carry this song with their vocals and geonu ended up being eliminated because of facial expressions is still the biggest plot twist i have ever faced in life. i stg if jungwon doesn't debut i'll throw hands.
Maybe facial expressions is important but his vocals were the best in I land and it's pretty disappointing. I wish he had time to actually work on it cuz all of a sudden at the end of part 1,he was told about his mistakes and all through part one he scored well.
Asmita Majumdar yesss, if facial expressions was the quality that he was lacking in.. then why did they only tell him now? why not at the actual time where he was practicing and performing in part 1. he was one of the vocal unit representatives from iland so like... it doesn’t make sense why they didn’t tell him back then.

To be honest, i think the i-grounders has the best teamwork. Everyone seem to be happy with each other. They help each other a lots, no one there trying to be selfish eventhough all of them are desperate to be one of the i-landers. They can cooperate well with each other. When i watch them i can feel the sincerity of each members. I hope they can make it to the i-land. For hanbin, i personally think that he has high potential to be i-landers because he has such great voice when rapping and he also very good at dancing. He is seriously one of my fav member in this show.
It's pretty clear the reason is because they know they can only go up and they know that by staying there they won't debut so they're just doing their best everytime. At I-LAND their destiny is on the line so people are obviously more sensible and eager of debut so of course things are different and not all butterflies.
That's because those who are in Iland have to work hard to keep survive there. while the grounder is just waiting for they to move even though they must to try they best too, but what is clear is that they are in a iland more difficult position to survive. Simple like that
HEESUNG! He really deserves everything. Despite being the ‘best’ at both dance and vocal, he was aware of his flaws as a leader and offered to give up his position. Really respect him for that, though I still really hope he was the center

Honestly speaking, this show focus only based on their visual but lack of vocal qualities. REALLY! TREASURE BOX participants are more talented and versatile than them. Every group should have: -Monster Rapper -Pop swagger -balladeer ugh! we need versatile and unique talents, and I REALLY HOPE FOR BETTER AND QUICK IMPROVEMENT. don't need to debut if not yet ready cause its a waste, REAL TALENTS SHINE than a potential one. YES, we need potential but VOCAL QUALITIES is something innate talent, dance can improve through practice and determination. Real Artist doesn't care about the selling number of poster because of visual, but the album selling really matter.

J j I think you’re being too quick to judge the contestants here. Each and every one of them have the POTENTIAL to be better. They all have the TALENT to be global artists, that’s why they were CHOSEN in the first place. The reason why they seem lacking is because they have had no proper training in doing a full proper show. While yes they have trained before entering I-Land, most of them only have a year of training at least, meaning they’re not fully prepared to be idols, much less do a full song with choreography and singing LIVE. Add on to that fact, they didn’t have ANYONE to guide them. The only guidance they had throughout all this was that small evaluation Rain did before their test. You can’t deny that some of them do have great voices, but due to lack of training and coaching, they can’t bring out their full potential yet. Also, they had to do this performance in a WEEK, by THEMSELVES, after entering I-Land for ONLY A FEW HOURS. They were extremely UNPREPARED for any of this.
Jay might seem desparate here, but let's be honest he was commendable; he was dedicated, optimistic, and doesn't know how to give up. In this episode, he, heeseung, jake, and sunghoon caught my eyes. But during the performance, Jungwon and Geonu were really excellent.
heesung is like that leader carrying a group project and everyone blaming him for not giving them a chance to help when he's onsidering everyone's happiness and grades.
I agree that the way he was like judging people one by one was a bit off putting and he was changing the choreo a bit but they SHOULD NOT have made him change positions, they should’ve just told him to do things differently, why on earth did they just make Niki the centre, it makes no sense. But not all of them felt that way it was like half half tbh
I’m sinful, but I agree with some parts of your opinion. They could ve just told heesung which part of his way that doesn’t work with the other trainee and they can come up with another way. But instead they decided to change center and blame all to heesung (like changing center solved all). But again, we only see small portion of the clips. There might me more to the story than what we saw. In the end, they are the one who make the decision and cary on the result of what they choose. I really hope everyone will learn and improve throughout the episode
I don't understand why they didn't like individual performing. I think this kind of training will help them to identify all of their mistakes . Maybe if they kept training like that they would get higher score . Ps. It's just my opinion ✌

This song is insanely difficult to sing and even took IU a full day to record. With that being said Geonu was extremely impressive and makes me wonder if he could have sang it with the higher octave finish in the "let's just run for our lives" part like IU did.

Geonu’s and Jungwon’s voices really brought emotions and colour to Into the i-Land. Honestly, listening to the studio version is so different because Geonu’s parts aren’t in there. I feel like there’s less emotions and soul to it. Geonu was my 2nd most favourite i-Lander so seeing him get eliminated was heartbreaking. I feel like he was never appreciated for his beautiful and strong vocals while being a stable dancer. I’ll always support you Geonu, we lost a gem🥺♥️
Yeah. I honestly thought the same thing. He's definitely a rapper. His personality and attitude as well as his dance grooves exudes someone who'll be able to be the main rapper.
Even before jungwon was ranked first, when i first heard this song jungwon’s voice stood out to me the most... I was surprised a person like me who’s tune deaf heard his voice out and felt good... He deserved the RANK 1 I guess.

Personally Jungwon and Geonu really stood out to me during this performance. Still trying to remember all their names heheh... I thought they did pretty good for such a short amount of time of practice and with meeting each other, but I can definitely see areas where they need to improve. I hope those within the 12 can get along and communicate well so they can become a harmonious group.

I miss K and Geonu so much. Seriously eliminating Geonu was the biggest mistake ever. Geonu's vocal is not a joke. Also K didn't make it to the final debut lineup, I'm ugly crying rn:(. Now, this made me stan Heeseung, ENHYPEN's main vocalist, center, and vocal leader. The fact that he has the least lines here but had the most lines on the official audio says a lot about how PDs admire and trust his singing capabilities. Tbh, Heeseung could make a really good leader and a center.. all those who thought that his way of teaching is plain and “humiliating” should know that being an idol is not always a flowery path. Besides, his way of teaching wasn’t even that horrifying nor did he make fun of anyone to get all upset. Plus, Niki was already eyeing the center position and all of them, including K, suggested Heeseung for the center position, knowing that Niki wanted the center. And when Heeseung started teaching, they talk behind his back. I strongly believe that Niki was manipulated into thinking that Heeseung’s method of teaching wasn’t up to their standards. K and Seon were the ones he was hanging out with most of the time and K and Seon ganged up against Heeseung after voting him for the center. And when Heeseung gave up his part, they didn’t even care to vote for others and just straight away voted for Niki. I am NOT blaming Niki here, because I strongly believe that the boy couldn’t have taken all those decisions himself without anyone pushing him to do so. For god’s sake, he is just 15 and I wouldn’t blame him for what he did. It’s just natural for him to want to be noticed, like everyone else. That’s why I respect Heeseung a lot now, because even though he wanted to be the center, he put the team above him. And I am not hating on Seon or K, but what they did to Niki and Heeseung doesn’t match the behavior of a true idol. They shouldn’t have talked behind his back like that. But again, we don’t know the whole story or what might’ve happened behind the cameras to totally blame them either. All in all, Heeseung deserved the center because of his vocals and dance and Niki is kinda like the “main dancer” material. Again, i am not hating on anyone, these are just my opinions.

If you notice they never really asked NiKi if he still wanted to be center after the midway evaluation (unless they edited it out cuz it's mnet) and they kept saying they should tell Heesung as soon as possible that they don't agree with his teachings but just kept delaying it. Also watching other shows a lot of the time they practice the same way (being singled out is to fix the issue you may not see while practicing as a group). They also only evaluated NiKi's dance skill while not taking vocals into consideration.

Maybe facial expressions is important but his vocals were the best in I land and it's pretty disappointing. I wish he had time to actually work on it cuz all of a sudden at the end of part 1,he was told about his mistakes and all through part one he scored well.

To be honest, i think the i-grounders has the best teamwork. Everyone seem to be happy with each other. They help each other a lots, no one there trying to be selfish eventhough all of them are desperate to be one of the i-landers. They can cooperate well with each other. When i watch them i can feel the sincerity of each members. I hope they can make it to the i-land. For hanbin, i personally think that he has high potential to be i-landers because he has such great voice when rapping and he also very good at dancing. He is seriously one of my fav member in this show.

It's pretty clear the reason is because they know they can only go up and they know that by staying there they won't debut so they're just doing their best everytime. At I-LAND their destiny is on the line so people are obviously more sensible and eager of debut so of course things are different and not all butterflies.
That's because those who are in Iland have to work hard to keep survive there. while the grounder is just waiting for they to move even though they must to try they best too, but what is clear is that they are in a iland more difficult position to survive. Simple like that

J j I think you’re being too quick to judge the contestants here. Each and every one of them have the POTENTIAL to be better. They all have the TALENT to be global artists, that’s why they were CHOSEN in the first place. The reason why they seem lacking is because they have had no proper training in doing a full proper show. While yes they have trained before entering I-Land, most of them only have a year of training at least, meaning they’re not fully prepared to be idols, much less do a full song with choreography and singing LIVE. Add on to that fact, they didn’t have ANYONE to guide them. The only guidance they had throughout all this was that small evaluation Rain did before their test. You can’t deny that some of them do have great voices, but due to lack of training and coaching, they can’t bring out their full potential yet. Also, they had to do this performance in a WEEK, by THEMSELVES, after entering I-Land for ONLY A FEW HOURS. They were extremely UNPREPARED for any of this.

Jay might seem desparate here, but let's be honest he was commendable; he was dedicated, optimistic, and doesn't know how to give up. In this episode, he, heeseung, jake, and sunghoon caught my eyes. But during the performance, Jungwon and Geonu were really excellent.

I agree that the way he was like judging people one by one was a bit off putting and he was changing the choreo a bit but they SHOULD NOT have made him change positions, they should’ve just told him to do things differently, why on earth did they just make Niki the centre, it makes no sense. But not all of them felt that way it was like half half tbh
I’m sinful, but I agree with some parts of your opinion. They could ve just told heesung which part of his way that doesn’t work with the other trainee and they can come up with another way. But instead they decided to change center and blame all to heesung (like changing center solved all). But again, we only see small portion of the clips. There might me more to the story than what we saw. In the end, they are the one who make the decision and cary on the result of what they choose. I really hope everyone will learn and improve throughout the episode

This song is insanely difficult to sing and even took IU a full day to record. With that being said Geonu was extremely impressive and makes me wonder if he could have sang it with the higher octave finish in the "let's just run for our lives" part like IU did.

Geonu’s and Jungwon’s voices really brought emotions and colour to Into the i-Land. Honestly, listening to the studio version is so different because Geonu’s parts aren’t in there. I feel like there’s less emotions and soul to it. Geonu was my 2nd most favourite i-Lander so seeing him get eliminated was heartbreaking. I feel like he was never appreciated for his beautiful and strong vocals while being a stable dancer. I’ll always support you Geonu, we lost a gem🥺♥️

Even before jungwon was ranked first, when i first heard this song jungwon’s voice stood out to me the most... I was surprised a person like me who’s tune deaf heard his voice out and felt good...

Personally Jungwon and Geonu really stood out to me during this performance. Still trying to remember all their names heheh... I thought they did pretty good for such a short amount of time of practice and with meeting each other, but I can definitely see areas where they need to improve. I hope those within the 12 can get along and communicate well so they can become a harmonious group.

Day 9 and I'm still crying over Geonu poor boy deserved better
Now, this made me stan Heeseung, ENHYPEN's main vocalist, center, and vocal leader. The fact that he has the least lines here but had the most lines on the official audio says a lot about how PDs admire and trust his singing capabilities. Watching this just made me even more proud of him, now that he's doing so well in ENHYPEN.
