    My blue dress in the video is McCall's Pattern M7974 View D without collar.😊
    If you find that your head is bare these days, I encourage you to sewalong a hat with me! :)

    Thanks for this tutorial, I was just going to make the Serpentine Hat and your video will help me complete it! I was getting stuck because my band and top of hat were not fitting and I got a lot of extra material.

    Hi Sara,
    I've been looking for a wide brim hat pattern. The Serpentine pattern is perfect. I love your dress and your videos, keep up the good work.

    I think it's better or easier if u sew the pocket first before inserting the wire.
    It turns out really cute. 👋👋👋

      Depending on the type of wire, it could be easier or trickier I assume! Thanks for sharing your idea! :)

    Hi! When you modified the free pattern into wide brim you got rid of the fold and made it into 4 pieces instead of 2, can i ask what was the reason for that?
    i don't get if it's necessary, or i can still make it with a fold, even if i make the brim longer by a few inches?

    • @SewingTherapy
      @SewingTherapy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi you still will be able to make it but the brim would float differently. I divided the brim into 4 pieces as I wanted it evenly floppy-brimmed.

      I had same question. I didn’t see seam of brim if you divided into 4 pieces; i only see you see 2 side pieces. Thanks.

    앗 저 바보인가봐요 ㅎㅎ 밑에 답글쓰고 다시 확인해봤는데 탑 패턴 사이즈 잘못 잘랐네요. 너무 부끄러워요. ㅋㅋ 다시 도전해보고 올께요. // 저 어제부터 이거 만들어보고 있는데… 탑이랑 밴드 연결 및 밴드-브림 연결할때 가장자리가 너무 안 맞아요ㅜㅜ 패턴을 잘못 잘랐나 할 정도로…. 주름짐 없이 깔끔하게 재봉되야 하는 것 같은데 너무 어렵네요… 탑 가장자리가 원형이니까 그 가장자리 따라서 박는거 맞지요..? 애구 다른 분들도 다 잘 하시는 것 같은데 다시 고민 해 봐야겠어요ㅜㅠ

      잘 완성 하셨는지 궁금하네요~ 😊
      원통부분은 깔끔하게 쏘잉하기가 어렵긴 하죠 제것도 좀 오글거려요~ 😎

      @@SewingTherapy 저 완성했어요!! 😊 탑사이즈 조정하고 나니까 거의 맞게 들어가더라고요. 근데 또 밴드-브림 연결할 때 안 맞아서 저도 마지막에 unpick 하고 조금 잘라내고 다시 연결 했어요. 생각보다 많이 어려웠지만 그래도 영상 올려주신 덕분에 완성할 수 있었어요. 정말 감사합니다! :-)
      저도 해외 거주중인데 소잉을 여기와서 시작했다보니 한국에서 쓰는 용어나 패턴이 어려웠는데.. 사라님 덕분에 예쁜 패턴들 및 여러 팁들을 영어로 공부할 수 있어서 넘 좋아요. 저 McCall m7969도 덕분에 완성할 수 있었어요! ☺️ 또 다른 것들도 천천히 따라해보면서 만들어볼게요 👍🏻
