I agree with this. Don't be afraid to call a shot what it is or only point out the positives of it. A bad shot is a bad shot you are not going to hurt someones feelings.
Agreed. Paul is a little less the hype man that Jerm can be. No shade on Jerm. Appreciate that he's trying to create excitement and promote the tour. I do value the commentary more when these guys dig deeper on the technical nature of shot choices and execution.

Kinda feels like bringing him in was a way to allow nate to move on at this point. Not sure if that's the case, but Uli and Jerm have a pretty permanent feel.

I would love to see a video segment where BigBarri Commentary explain the Disc Golf season and the difference between the events and how the points work etc.
Uli did his homework on poisonous snakes!! Very few are actually poisonous (most toxic snakes are venomous) but Keelbacks are indeed poisonous... and you looked it up just to show up Jerm, love it.
Uli can get a bit silly sometimes, but he killed the final round. Also if Sexy was in the booth with them, he probably would have already known about the Keelback and laid down some papa knowledge. Fantastic finish to boot. Great job everybody.
I like the overhead shots of the holes with the routes graphically added a LOT better than the usual drone shots that fly through the line to the basket. I Jomez continues to use those,

Would love to see some of the less known and not that established players with crazy distance in the US tour. Like Kristian or Severi might got a few "Who is this guy?!" moments.
Uli once again showing consistent improvement in the booth, cool to see, I like the serious demeanor, it suits the post commentary better. Adam's ability to throw floaty forehand approaches is just so nice, wish I could have that in my game.
20:40 shout out to the FANS! Incredible job getting out of the way and letting that disc roll. That was actually so important at this time and place in the tournament. Bravo guys and gals.
I know can you imagine if it had hit one of their feet and stopped rolling and he missed the putt from there. I would feel awful if I were in that position as a spectator. Big props to them for being attentive in that moment

Ricky is such a nice guy. i think Rick realized how much more special it would for Mason to win in front of his home crowd on that playoff hole. Ricks playoff hole putt looked to be about 50% when he had been canning those for most of the game. Not to take anything away from Mason, his putts were butter all day. Great job to both of them for playing great golf and great sportsmanship. Strong work to Jomez once again and BigBarry commentary!
Rick has come in second place too many times this year to willingly do it again. He was just nervous and shanked it. He knows he wouldn't be satisfied if someone handed him a win so he definitely wouldn't give it out to someone else. Anyways, coming in second so many times and facing doing it again is plenty enough pressure to shank a putt like that. Nobody is perfect, but rick definitely isn't giving up thousands of dollars and the chance at a first place win to make someone else feel good. He got to where he is by trying to be the best and on that putt, he failed. Plain and simple.

Yes Ricky missed the put on purpose. He should have tried to make it look like he was trying so people would believe it was a legitimate miss. Oh well most will still fall for it anyway. I never thought Disc Golf would ever be rigged, but I guess there's a first for everything😕.

Interesting to watch live, and then see it on Jomez. The live coverage is amazing, given the resource constraints, but because multiple cards are being covered, it's hard to know which shots are good, or about what they are even trying to do. The hole breakdowns really allow me to understand what's going on a lot better. Also, as others have mentioned, Uli killed the good shot/bad shot calls. But, with Jomez alone, you don't get the sense of how much waiting was going on, or how long it took Mason to throw the two trouble shots when he was in deep trouble. You also don't get the sense, as in the live coverage, of how many players were in it down the stretch. Great coverage!

I believe that was because Jerm hadn't played the course, so he didn't know what was good and what was bad. He had to rely on Uli to point it out.

I think that it worked great how Jerm kept the spirit high and Uli came in with the facts without undermining Jerm nor coming off negative.

@@Z-MACx I'm not sure I'm buying that...Ricky seems like a really nice guy but even he I don't think would throw away the chance at a tournament win, not if you've seen his passion for winning in every tourney he plays. You could also see he was genuinely bummed after his missed putt, unless he's a great actor!
@@dr05guitar Genuinely bummed? Looks like he casually turned around and picked up his disc. Even Big Jerm and Uli thought it was bizarre. You can hear it in their reaction. It seemed pretty obvious
Interesting to watch live, and then see it on Jomez. The live coverage is amazing, given the resource constraints, but because multiple cards are being covered, it's hard to know which shots are good, or about what they are even trying to do. The hole breakdowns really allow me to understand what's going on a lot better. Also, as others have mentioned, Uli killed the good shot/bad shot calls.
But, with Jomez alone, you don't get the sense of how much waiting was going on, or how long it took Mason to throw the two trouble shots when he was in deep trouble. You also don't get the sense, as in the live coverage, of how many players were in it down the stretch.
