Alessa probably affected his mind to keep pushing. Hence why she keeps knocking him out every time he gets a piece of whatever that thing is and then places him conveniently somewhere that gives him something that leads to the next area.

Fun fact : in silent hill origins, unlike the previous games, if you turn off the flashlight, you can still interact with things despite it being dark, and when your flashlight is off, you're practically invisible to enemies in dark areas while you're walking, you can just walk past all of them as long as you don't touch them.
Travis is probably my favorite due to the fact he killed what is essentially the devil to save Alisa and can carry copius amounts of shit to throw at monsters I swear I remember picking up a TV and throwing it at the Final Boss

Silent Hill Shattered Memories is legendary in my mind. Not because I like it, as I've never actually played it, but because I have very fond memories of two Let's Players tackling it, and one of them taking the picture coloring bit WAY too seriously by doing it like it's a serious coloring book, and getting yelled at by the other guy for it. That's actually the main reason I even know of that game, or remember it.
I know this is a joke but the reason nobody does good things anymore is because people always bastardize goodwill with this mindset. He is just a concerned citizen checking up if the girl was all right, but you guys would want to see it as a pedophilia act.

I remember the first time I played it on the ps2 It was autum, so it was starting to get cold, I bought a pirated copy in my videoclub and I played up to the first boss, after defeating him, my mom told me to go get some stuff from the grocery store. When I got outside my house, there was a incredibly thick and low fog all over the neighborhood. It didn't make sense for me since when I first got out to get the game it wasn't a shred of fog outside. It was really creepy, and I loved it haha. I think I beat the game by punching everyone, I loved the idea of punching every monster that came across with my bare fists.
This would have been out days ago but some of the enemies were considered just too bangable by youtube and kept making it 18+
