This is great strategy for best ball leagues. Other leagues are very different.
In a traditional snake draft 🐍 drafting WRs first depends on where you are picking. If you are picking from 1 - 3 or 6 - 9, prioritizing WR could be profitable. However, I don't see a problem with alternating picks (RB/WR - WR/RB). The most important thing is to ensure that your first 4 players are in the top 36 overall.

@odoylerulez1427 You make a valid point. For me, it hinges on league depth. In a 10-team league, it's a much easier decision for me to take a WR early due to the quality options at RB that will be available later in the draft. However, in a 12-team league, in which the RB position dries up quickly, it's not so easy for me to pull the trigger on a WR with my first pick. I love it, though!! Making tough draft day decisions is exciting and one of the things that I love the most about Fantasy Football.

One thing that you are absolutely spot on about is the mid range WR. Last year I drafted Jefferson 1st, took Lamb in the 3rd and drafted Godwin in the ninth. These 3 were my teams core. I was lucky to get Geno Smith on waivers b/c Dak got hurt. I started 1 and 4 then Dak and Godwin got healthy and I never lost again. Jefferson scored less than 5 points in the championship but Godwin and CD balled out. I only answer to champ now! 😂

Yes Keenan has an Injury history which makes him a boom or bust player. He for certain will boom if he stays relatively healthy. Last year he was exceptional in the last 6 weeks coming back from injury.
I’ve done many mocks and surprisingly I’ve had good results going WR, WR, WR to start draft.

Lamb at 9 = Too early
Waddle at 16 = Too early
Keenan at 33 = Not bad
Watson at 40 = Early but don’t mind
No way Aaron Jones or Mixon is available in Round 5 come August. They will go between picks 32-36
Underdog value is crazy different than a redraft league as EVERYONE does this strategy at least 60-70% of the time. Aaron Jones might go up and Joe Mixon will if we continue to hear nothing from his potental suspention
Joe Mixon fell to me in round 6 when I drafted in May. Right now he’s a round 5 ADP. I expect him to not rise more than 1 more round maybe.

RB's in my draft went really early. Mixon, Jones, Cook, and Walker were all gone by pick 56
I had AJ Brown fall to me in round 2 and Joe Burrow in round 6 in the same draft. Couldn’t believe it.
I get a Brown Hurts stack when i draft last . Later on mix a Herbert / Williams stack.
So I have a question if anybody can answer I have picked 12 in this year’s fantasy my keepers are either Lamar or Lawrence. So for my first pick which is the 12th pick what position should I go for?

How do new teams/qbs/etc. affect this? Watson was good with Rodgers, but now with Love (who is unproven), it has to impact this

You have one thing definately wrong.
If you have an ir slot always draft an injured upside player.
Then right after the draft you have one more pick. Place the injured player in the ir slot and grab the best undrafted player. And now you have one more potential stud player hoarded than your opponents
This video is talking about best ball only where there is no IR slot. The player would just end up occupying a valuable roster spot netting you 0 points.
There’s no IR designation in the off-season .

Dont force stacking in season long redraft folks. Especially with QBs or WRs. Just take whoever your draft board says to
agreed. Don’t force it. If it’s a competitive league stacking is still viable. If your league mates aren’t great then not worth the added risk

I like it for underdog but not a redraft league. Especially if its a typical 1 qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 te 1 flex espn league

Just want to be able to support Sal in a way I can. I have seen others have the same issues as well but no solution yet.

These ADP’s are not what you’re gonna come across when you play in your home leagues with opponents who are casual fantasy players. Be prepared to adjust on the fly!
Yeah the WR ADP's are all higher in best ball and RBs are lower.
