WARNING. It is not a DIY, it is an example of construction, I am not a professional. I just want to share the making of a compact RC excavator.
The excavator will be semi-scale, so not 100% identical to the real model, some parts are adapted according to the constraints of the scale model.

je ne savais pas que l'on pouvais souder de l'aluminium avec un simple fer à souder et de l'étain. Mais bravo quel ajustage et tant de précision.
C'est de l'acier que je soude. Le godet en alu est collé

Great job! Why some times do you prefer soldering parts together and sometimes do you prefer to use glue?
Soldering is for steel. Epoxy is for aluminium

Curious why you are using glue on the one bucket and solder on the other? Your level of detail is amazing!
One is steel and one is alloy
The trenching bucket is in steel for the stenght. It's solder by tin. The tilting bucket is in aluminium for weight. It's glued with epoxy.

Hello, glad to hear that, thats exacly why I do this video, for inspiring other people ! Sorry I do not have the drawing of my bucket, but you can find all drawing you want on google. just search with "ditching bucket drawing" or "excavator bucket drawing" choose the model you want and put it to the scale you want.

0.75mm steel sheet. The drawing for the bucket come from wuelhbox.ch

Hi sir sorry to bother you i just have a quick question what material plate did you use to make these buckets and another question where dan i download those type of blue prints of machines like the ones you stick to your wall at your work bench
Standard bucket are made of steel, ditch bucket is in aluminium.. All drawing are in video description, with link for download.

Merci ! Pour les godets, soit alu collé avec endfest300 soit acier brasé etain.

bonjour j'ai remarqué aussi que vous passiez les pieces a la sableuse c'est pour l'adhérence de la peinture et la soudure je suppose ,j'en ai pas le ponçage et aussi efficace je pense qu' en pensez vous merci
Ce n'est malheureusement pas aussi efficasse mais c'est mieux que rien, surtout bien dégraisser pour les collages.

@@optimus8910 Non le sablage c'est pas forcément pour la soudure, par contre pour la soudure il faut une pièce propre et dégraissée.

WOW... Your videos have inspired me to build my own. Can I ask why you go for 1:15? From what I have seen all the scaled trucks are 1:14 and I think it would be nice that they can be used together. But maybe it's okay, here where I live the local group runs 1:14-1:16 together. Anyways, the one I am thinking of building is the Volvo EC380E in 1:14, I have just printed the papirs today, it is huge.
1/15 is a good mix between tamixa 1/14 and toy Bruder 1/16.

Je préchauffe la pièces, mais je continue de chauffer assemblage après collage, pendant 5min. Le colle est plus liquide et pénètre mieux les interstice des pièces, le colla est plus fort. Et ca permet d'avoir un séchage en 5min.

-> 5min à 180°

Here aluminium is glued with epoxy Endfest 300. You can solder aluminium with cold brasure like alia382 but i do it only for bigger parts

@@jeromegiuliano9550 Je crois que ses vérins la ne son plus produit, ils était pour l'air et le join de tête n'est pas assé serré. Dans la vidéo je mets une bague fine dans la tête de vérin pour serrer plus le join.
