  • Sorry for the delay. I had a really bad day , and it took me a hot minute to get this 2nd part out. I lost Bandit to cancer shortly after the last video.. he is truly part of my family and will not be forgotten. Jan 2012 - July 2022

Hi Doug. Good job on the parts and I like coaxial center finder. Very sorry to hear about the dog. As you know I have two small dogs, and they mean everything to us. Keep up the good work Doug and try to stay positive. Cheers mate, Aaron.

Hi Doug . Wow , sorry to hear about Bandit . I know when we had to put our last one down , it makes the house seem real empty . The parts came out great , i always make sure i have all the parts with that sort of job where possible . Been caught out before & had to put stuff back in the machine . Not sure if this will help , i always have an indicator on the boring head to measure the last cuts . If you overshoot the adjustment , at least you can re set back where you were . 👍👍👍

Thanks Max. I've seen people using a indicator on there boring head before, just didn't dawn on me to do that.

Doug, sorry to hear about bandit. I got a call yesterday myself that my son was taking their dog Atlas that they have had for 12 years to the vet because it was time to put him down. He asked if I had a spot in my backyard where we could bury him so I went home and fired up the backhoe. They do become a part of the family and always a loss when they can no longer be with us.

Very sorry Doug for your buddy. I can hear it in your voice. Been there, and it is horrible to endure. I prefer dogs to most people. Must be a shop people thing. LOL. Hang in there - getting busy is a good idea.
