  • Living in Survival Mode on The Road (Healing from Trauma while Living in a Van) Get your ⚡️ AstroAI S8 Ultra Jumper Starter: amzn.to/3KwzfzP // Website: bit.ly/45tcdnr I am feeling safer living full time on the road in my van since I have this portable jump starter. It's essential for me to feel in control, creating new routines and focusing on healing. I had a challenging period of time, navigating challenges and learning how to get out of survival mode. I am trying to focus on what I can control and working on my traumas on a daily basis.

Living in survival mode is a natural reaction after experiencing trauma. I was scared, depressed and I didn’t know how to get out of bed without crying for hours. Everything was a big challenge and I thought that I was never going to be able to live life again. I am still healing, and I know I have a long journey ahead until I feel like my happy self again. For now I try to focus in what I can control. I am trying to skate more, enjoying nature more and try not to stress out too much when life is not going my way. Have you ever experienced anxiety or panic attacks!? If so, how did you get out of that emotional state?

Lidia, well here I am again. As a guy who has experienced trauma on many different levels, from my fiancé, to family members, to guys in the Army that I considered my brothers. My point is, the key to healing is acceptance and not blaming yourself. As I have said before, thanks to my PTSD, I know what a lot of them go through. I fight the same monsters in my head. Lidia, you are a strong woman and a fighter. You have monsters of your own as well as the monsters that have been projected on to you, but they CAN be beaten. Just stay the course, be strong, and keep being the amazing young lady you are. As always, BIG HUGS from Tennessee! 😁

I was in Chula Vista for 3 years, then LA and then San Luis Obispo, before I moved up here for total peace and quiet. Stumbled upon this channel. i know loss, seen loss… I’m also in Southern California… after 20 years divorced after my wife forgot what vows meant, one of my 12 year old twin sons died 4 years ago, mom died 3 years ago, uncle, brother and grandmother died within the last 2 years… worked in pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support ambulance for many years… so when I say I’ve seen loss and experienced much loss that’s what I meant.. after my kiddo died I went through a period where I’d stare at the wall for 18 hours a day… went through a bunch of dark stuff.. finally pulling myself out of the hole and getting back to myself… to be able to smile or experience joy sometimes is hard. I can easily go a couple of days without smiling. Without turning this into a seminar I just wanted to say I enjoyed the few videos of yours I’ve seen. Stay strong sis and continue to push forward. 👊🏾🤘🏾

Lost my mom 2017 old age then my son 2019 to seizure in bath tub < 30 years old. I gained 30 lbs., I had big sobbing grief at work, while driving to work, doing anything. I had to go back to work 4 days post so my family didn’t go into financial ruin. I still have breakdowns. Site of things that remind me of my son just make me breakdown. We find our way to sometimes we don’t. Loss and grief is personal to each of us. Don’t let someone’s coping mechanism make you feel guilty for your grief mechanism You do you. Lidia, sometimes the worst things that happen to us can actually be life's greatest gifts. I know that's hard to understand right now. But we all go through our own challenges as well. Some even worse. You WILL get through this! As long as you take your followers through your recovery process your support will grow tremendously! Your channel will thrive because you're providing a gift to humanity. The world needs a lot more people like you. Maybe you can create episodes explaining how you deal with each challenge? You don't have to offer solutions. Other people just like to know they're not alone while dealing with their own challenges. This is just a friendly suggestion. Only YOU know what's best for yourself. I just subscribed and looking forward to your next video. ✌️👍

@@LidiaRico I've experienced hundreds of panic attacks and suffered from them for 10-15 years. Then I stumbled upon the Buteyko breathing method and finally I learned that I was chronically over breathing and often breathing through my mouth. Started retraining my breathing patterns, slowly moved to nose breathing 24/7 and my panic attacks are gone. I can still get anxious or very anxious given circumstances, but nose breathing is your "always with you safety net" that prevents you from spiralling into more and more panic and loss of control.
You can go a few weeks without food. A few days without water. A few minutes without breathing. Still when we work on our health, we tend to spend so little time on the thing that we need the most and most frequently for our physical and mental well-being: proper breathing.

It's always so good to see a new Lidia video! ❤I LOVE those little Jump Starters - one of my brothers gave me one a couple of years ago, and I always keep it charged and in my car now; I got one for my kid and my other brother too. Your honesty in showing and telling us all about your journey of the past couple of years helps all of us to remember it is normal to feel lost and in pain. I can identify with you so much because you are always grateful for what you have, but also open about your worries and those days when it's just hard to get out of bed. So many people on social media pretend they and their lives are perfect; and we all know that's not the truth. Thank you so much; sending you good vibes and love always! ❤😘

You are so beautiful, not only your appearance but also your thoughts and feelings. You have a very deep personality. I'm sorry you experienced the pain of life at an early age. but it taught you about life. It made you realize life earlier. I love your videos and your conversations with deep feelings and thoughts. Life is temporary and I wish you a beautiful life for the rest. Hope to see you if you come to Istanbul, Turkey...🍀

I See the message in your video's and i appreciate you sharing them with all of us. i lost a friend that was pretty much my brother. all my old hobbies don't seem to bring me much happiness and enjoyment anymore. i've always had friends, but now a days i'm a loner mostly. most of my friends are back home where i grew up. but the ones i made where i live now, i have started going out with them more. to the lake to go swimming, kayaking, fishing. and just randomly stopping by their house has put me into a better mental state. just bought a mini moto motorcycle and seeing life in a new way is helping a lot. i will never forget my brother, but i know the time i have left here he wouldn't want me to struggle. so i'm gonna live my life for him. I thank you for your videos and I hope you can find your peace and total happiness.

Really appreciate your videos. And how honest and vulnerable you are. It's refreshing to see someone be so authentic. I too have experienced a loss like alot of others here in the comments. Lost my mum 7 years ago to cancer. It was really difficult. It does take time to heal. And eventually joy will return more frequently. I think you find acceptance. In the way that part of you will always miss that person. And sometimes feel sad about what happened. But that's ok. You can enjoy life and be happy. But sometimes you'll feel sad about them not being here and that's ok. You can life live. No one is happy all the time. Little things can definitely help. Like finding time for the simple things that cheer you up when you're feeling down. Self care. Connection with people. Stay well. Much love ❤️

Hola, Lidia!

Hi Lidia, I found your channel a while back when you started again. I don’t know your other channel or ex relationship details, but I know your story. I lost my dad to suicide and left my boyfriend I was going to marry within four months of each other. I was devastated and it was difficult to get out of bed. I know what you are going through. It does get better and you have to try to meditate and get out of your head replaying the “stories.” You will overcome this battle, and I’m sorry it happened in the middle of a pandemic. Mine was in my 30’s and older now. You will be fine, I am just glad you are taking time in nature! Being by the beach is healthy for you! Negative ions are taking your pain away. Sending you healing vibes!! 🥰🥰🥰 Block all negativity from your life and even if they are bots 🤖 or actual people….STAY in your ❤️
