    One of the hardest things about John Wick that no one ever talks about is that he just walks in the open, no disguises, no trying to hide. He welcomes all of the smoke.
    Also, this franchise will never end for me until Hugo Weaving comes out at the end as the true head of the High Table and saying, "Mr. Wick, welcome back, we missed you."

    John Wick: Chapter 4 was one of the best action sequels I’ve seen. One thing that I love about this franchise is that the movies seem to be getting better and better with each film, and the fourth film is no exception.

      I was going to say the opposite. I really don't like the cliche villains. This one is just dumb. Another asshole with money in a suit. Nothing we've not seen a million times over. If they would actually build the world more and dive deeper into the table and not make the elder, the leader of the whole thing a bitch, its be better.
      They clearly have no idea what to do with this series but kill npcs in fantastical fashion. Which that's getting boring quick. I'd rather see a few long takes of cut meat, than gunfu.

      His blindness arguably is what made him more deadly. It heightened his other senses and made him more creative. If he still had his eyesight, he'd likely be in between Koji and John Wick. Better than Koji, but maybe not as equal as John Wick.

    The only bad thing was not being able to discuss the epicness that this film was. I've been waiting ever so patiently for my favorite reactors to finally watch this. I literally couldn't think of a better way to end John's story. He knew he couldn't live a free man. But he could die a free man. Like both he and Caine said "Those who cling to death live, those who cling to life die." It makes us see the whole franchise as his grieving and coping mechanism as well as finding his own peace. There were so many hints and foreshadowing of this outcome.

      Nobody ever seems to get the reference to The Warriors,

    • @ll7868
      @ll7868 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lisag5002 That's because there aren't 10,000 reaction channels who have reacted to it already. Most Patrons aren't cinephiles, they're addicted to YT and like having control of content, a lot of channels share the same Patrons who might spend a couple hundred a month sending the same requests to multiple channels, it's almost like an addiction akin to spending cash on in-game purchases for "Free-To-Play" games like Fortnite and Minecraft, they only know trendy movies or movies that were popular in certain demographics, big budgets and big names, cult classics, stuff that they've seen on other channels countless times and since there aren't more than a handful of reactions to The Warriors they're mostly unaware of it's existence.
      Ever notice 99% of new reactors always do the most popular videos from the biggest channels first? Back To The Future, Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars etc. and their first horror is almost always The Exorcist or The Shining, most shy away from gore but The Evil Dead series is pretty much a requirement as is Train To Busan. Every reactor also does the Dawn of the Dead remake but there are none to the original (Personally my all time favourite movie any genre). Every single channel does Groundhog Day on their first Feb 2 on YT and every single martial arts movie they react to is either Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon or a Hollywood Jackie Chan movie followed by John Wick. It's almost pointless to watch reactions anymore unless there's a rare reaction to something more obscure like say Day Shift directed by Chad Stahelski, still no reactions by any channel I subscribe to, or a classic that gets no respect like Enemy Mine or Gorillas In The Mist, which I think Sigourney Weaver was robbed of the Oscar for.
      Most of the best suggestions I see are in the comments by people who actually watch movies, all genres, indie films, foreign films, lesser known stuff, I once saw a request for The Toxic Avenger, I didn't think anyone remembered that movie but me. Patron requests rarely have anything that hasn't been done to death. Reaction channels are almost like watching reruns now but with different actors saying the same lines, yeah, actors, not all of them haven't seen the exact same movies, you would think at least one would say "I've seen Forrest Gump", but apparently no reactor has ever heard of Tom Hanks prior to starting a YT channel. I call BS on 90% of them.

    He only thinks about his love and everything is about her. He only loves her even after her death. He mentioned I wanna live just to remember her. He doesn't go around and pick another love. because true love is one. he only thinks about his wife. that's something important to show to ppl these days. which is true love.

    Probably my favorite part of this entire series is that Keanu Reeves actually was trained to do all of these things. All of the shooting and fighting. We're just lucky that he's really such a kind, peaceful person in reality. He's been awarded two honorary black belts and was trained to shoot by the best marksman in the world - former Special Forces. There are videos out there of the training he went through, and they talk about how the actors suffered real injuries - broken bones and all. And keep in mind, he was 50 years old when the first one came out. It's a crime that he hasn't been awarded an Oscar for any of this.

      Okay, you knew the name, but he's NOT a stuntman, he's an actor, he has stuntmen. Go watch Accident Man, Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday or The Debt Collector, which I saw again a couple nights ago, worth a reaction. His biggest role before John Wick was as Yuri Boyka in the Undisputed franchise. He was the astral fighter that took on Dr. Strange while he was getting surgery and was part of the group that fought Shang Chi on the bus. He was in Universal Soldier 4, he was the one who killed JCVD in that brutal final fight and took over as the leader of the Universal Soldiers. They need to do another sequel. He does his own stunts most of the time but he's a martial artist turned actor. All his movies are worth reactions, how about Triple Threat from 2019 also starring Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais and Tiger Chen? They produced it themselves as a group just to showcase their favourite fight moves.

    Chris and Curtis never disappoint. Such an iconic franchise, this is the greatest action movie that I've ever seen. Donnie Yen was amazing, Bill Skarsgard great villain and Keanu Reeves is Goated.

    This movie has everything, but I gotta call out the amazing soundtrack, in particular Blood Code by Le Castle Vania! It's the song that plays as the waterfall fight begins. I am not the biggest techo fan, having grown up on rock and roll with hippie parents, but damn, that song slaps!

    I was in Paris a few weeks ago driving at night, the scene at the Arc de Triomphe gave me flashbacks of trying to negotiate that horrendous roundabout lol never again.

    Killa (played by Scott Adkins), reminded me of the fight between Sammo Hung and Donnie Yen in a film called SPL.
