The human predilection for self-destruction seems woven into the very fabric of our being. At the same time, humans possess the potential to be a force for good. We are good and in equal measure bad - symmetries that make up the human experience. Our history is full of periods of unprecedented violence and savagery usually followed by periods of unprecedented enlightenment, peace and prosperity - the ebb and flow of our collective consciousness.
The most beautiful song I have ever heard. I wish someone would translate the words to English so everyone will be able to sing this MAGNIFICANT song. It touches deep down into the heart and soul of humanity. Pure, precious, and unpretentious. The birthplace of humanity. I cannot stop listening to this song. Absolutely Breathtaking.
At it's heart, the the song is a rallying cry for Africans to unite in pursuit for peace, love, harmony and prosperity. It's sung in two languages: Sotho and Zulu. Short extract of the lyrics in original languaes and English translation right below: Kopano Rona ma Africa, ratang ka kopano Batho ba Africa, ngothando sizonqoba Ma Africa Eya, batheo beso! Ngothando siziphumelela UNITY We are Africans, wishing to unite People of Africa, love will conquer Africa Go, our people! Love will succeed!
I agree with others…this song is very powerful! I don’t even need to know the words to understand the sentiment, & yes it’s difficult not to😢every⏳I👂🏻it. I ❤️ed the soundtrack to the 🎞“Tears of the☀️,” but haven’t been able to find it, @least not on iTunes…maybe it can only be found on💿. I’m not familiar w/Lebo M, but I feel there’s a true grace (I don’t mean a religious 1, rather 1of humanity w/in the “soul” & the mother w/in “🌍”) btwn Lebo M & the choir! It’s haunting, btwn the words & the swells of emotive dynamics that hits ur sternum into ur ❤️! I’d B gr8ful if some1 who knows the words could ✍🏼📜here, others too I imagine, thank you😇❣️

Once the wars are over, once the poverty is gone, and once the suffering has ended, Africa will be paradise on Earth.
I want this for our people
May humanity repent and go the righteous path.
