What I really like about the airshows is that one doesn't have to worry about getting a front row seat. Just find any spot on the ramp because all of the action is above you and there's a lot of room to spread out. Also, it's very friendly family event. Looking at the many types of aircraft up close on the ramp is great. Lot's of food and plenty of rest rooms . I find it very laid back and relaxing . I flew my plane into one of the airshows recently before the airport was closed for the show. After the show we were able to fly out and avoid the traffic , Nothing like seeing the " Blues " perform !
Also, not worth the money to be in the VIP area ! All one will see is the planes taxing . That you can see on the ramp up real close . Again the action is above you.
