Wow how could they have known these winds would come when they did. It is wild how you just posted your video right before it happened! Great drone footage as usual. Stay safe Joey! 😎👍
Well you got the before shot and the after shot, Im glad you were'nt there for the action shot!..... Hey Joey here is an idea that others may like too, I know I would love to buy a picture frame or cut out sign made from the old weather beaten wood boards from the boardwalk, maybee they could salvage some of the old wood to make souvenirs out of it and put the money towards the new wood that is needed. Any little bit would help plus it would raise awareness it needs work. Crazy to think some of that old wood I walked on last year was in place there back in the 80s when I was a kid. Maybee with your connections at Moreys, the historic society or the local municipality someone would be interested in starting such an idea. Just a thought to help with getting repairs and sharing memories.
I'm sure they have money allocated for repairs like this I've seen things a lot worse my aunt lived on Pacific Avenue for years at least they didn't have to worry about beach erosion unfortunately that happens up the road in Cape May
Thanks for keeping us updated! I appreciate it.
No problem!
Great footage as usual. Talk about taking a walk on the WILD side of the Wildwood Boardwalk !

very sad. we sit on those benches when we come down. had not been down since 2017, and now this virus messed up this year too
I know. So sad. I hope after all of this is over you still get to come down and enjoy wildwood.
Thanks for the information, Joey. Stay safe!!

Hey! I hope your safe and sound. The Historical Society already sells the wood on their website and at the museum! :-)
@@WildwoodVideoArchive Oh wow thanks!
So sorry to see that happen to my favorite boardwalk!! 😢
So sad. It was honestly one crazy storm.

Funny enough they were already fixing the Boardwalk lol
Looking back, maybe actually screwing or nailing down the new sections would have been a great idea.. Wasted time and money
Yeah, I think so! I thought it was strange in his earlier video that the new section wasn't attached to the support beams.
Well I imagine they would have got to it if the whole virus thing had not broke out.
What caused this
No way😯 this WildWood boardwalk is damage hit by storm. It’s 😭
The boards weren’t tied down all the way yet
uh oh
I think Eddie Ambrosano is my cousin
