Theres a reason most chevy silverado guys put away their LS projects and switched over to the coyote f150 platform. Its just so much easier to build and get results. That little Coyote 5.0 F150 is where its at these days.

I can remember watching this crew when they first started with Leroy, and they were struggling with 9's
Mullet had all sorts of power delivery problems and struggled to get into the 8's.
These boys and their cars have come a long way.

I had same issues on my lowered 4wd silverado, I broke a few axles. You need longer axles on these trucks, get the factory trail boss axles since they are longer and won't pop the snap rings off

Here in Texas, that 275 class is FAST! Most of your 275 shootouts have cars that do 3.80s in them on the right track. I would genuinely love to see Mullet rock a 275 more often and get into consistent DEEP 4s and 6s.

That red GMC has a 427 built engine, supercharger and NOS..... it still isn't as fast as the F150...LOL.

@@Airsally The axles are breaking because it's lowered and pulling the CV apart when the suspension fully compresses. It's just an oversight of lowering a truck multiple inches and not making sure the axles would work with the geometry. It's a good thing Ford finally fixed the IWE problem in 2021. Blue would have been grinding up those chinesium hub locks like crazy if they were the pre-21 design.

He's smart enough to see the opportunity that he created and drop out of a sure bet career as a lawyer to pursue this and consistently grow his brand/wealth/family/connections and branch his TH-cam channel into a multi business empire that he rarely brags about beyond mentioning how good the product is. Not because it's weak, because the truck is lowered so much the factory axle isn't long enough and pulling it apart. If you modify your suspension that much, you gotta make sure stuff like the CV axles are the right length.

In 2008 i built a 69 Chevy truck, i took it to Ennis Texas. I was the winner of the first Texas tunner showdown presented by nos energy drink ET2 battle 2 winner. This was my daily driver. In fact it was the only vehicle we had. I beat everyone.
