BMW 5 Series - A/C Blower Replacement

BMW 5 Series from 2010 - 2016. A/C Blower Motor replacement.
Tools needed:
-T0RX 20 and 25 bits with bit driver and various extensions.
- 15mm socket with ratchet
-Plastic rivet popper tool.
Parts can be found many places online like pelicanparts.com
-Blower motor assembly
-Blower motor housing top cover.

Curious as to how long this took to repair...BMW is quoting 6 hrs.

Thank you for the video. Did the old motor really needed replacement? If there is debris inside it which is causing the offbalance… why not replacing just the casing and clean the motor?
Also.. wouldn’t be best to disconnect the battery?

We replace the motor because the cage isn't sold separately. We also replace with new so we can warranty the job. There is no need to disconnect the battery. key off and unplugging the fan is just fine.
