    I’m a 16 yr old braider who’s been braiding for a year and realllyyyy want to get faster with my knotless. It’s the only style that takes forever probably because I’m a perfectionist and go over my parts a bunch of times. I just want to get faster for the sake of my clients and for myself because standing so long wears on my body. I have 2 clients this weekend back to back getting knotless this weekend so y’all pray for me! I will try this method and try not braiding down the ends until the end. Hopefully it’ll help with my speed!

      Same here girl I’m also 16 and I have a client today and Friday for these braids. I hope we both make it 🥲 but keep grinding we only 16 and have many more years ahead of us to get better and better💜

    Everybody is confused by the cornrows 🤦🏾‍♀️ it’s just to keep the hair separate while you figure out the parts. You can also use rubber bands, clips or whatever works best for you to achieve clean parts!!!

    EACH ONE TEACH ONE TIP FROM @BRAIDED_REBEL ON IG!!
    THIS VIDEO WAS 2 YEARS AGO!!!! FOR UPDATED TUTORIALS CHECK OUT MY OTHER VIDEOS ON MY CHANNEL.
    The method is just preparting your sections before braiding. This makes the process faster and it allows you to know exactly how many rows are left for you to finish the head. *YOUR SPEED DEPENDS ON YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH BRAIDING!!* if this method isn’t for you that’s completely fine. This isn’t for beginners. I’d refer this method to more experienced braiders.

    Most of those "confused" comments are coming from non braiders, I assume. Because if you are, you know sectioning off, pre prepping hair, being organized, etc. is important if you or your client don't want to be there all day. This is a great way to keep braiding without all the stopping and starting, which is inevitable when braiding. Great video!!

    What does it matter that she cornrowed it first? Y’all so damn extra🙄

    • @embracedbyree
      @embracedbyree 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Right‼ I think they missed the concept that it's called presectioning which takes less time. Those big cornrows wasnt nothing especially since she didn't plait them all the way down❤

    • @jcsgrrl
      @jcsgrrl 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      You really don't understand why it matters to some? Lol! It matters because that is what was suppose to save time and to others they don't think it does. SMH!

      Ppl need to try things out 1st b4 always being negative about it🙄😫🤦🏾‍♀️

      @@jcsgrrl It keeps the hair stretched, helps keep the bulk of the hair out of the way, uses way less ponytail holders & clips to hold back the hair. If that doesn't save time, idk what to tell you & the others.

  • @Renie_B
    @Renie_B 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So you corn rowed just to take them out? I think I missed a step the braids are simply gorgeous though

    • @SlayingitWithRay
      @SlayingitWithRay  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Corn rowing was just for sectioning purposes. You can section and use a clip instead. It was just my way of maintaining the sections.

    I love the braids ❤ but why the cornrows?

    • @SlayingitWithRay
      @SlayingitWithRay  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cornrows are just for presectioning purposes. You don’t have to do cornrows. You can substitute that for clips, or rubber bands. It’s just easy to keep everything in place this way for me.
