I love this gun, got it for 300 out the door before $50 rebate at my local Scheel's who had it on sale. Shot 200 rounds of brass with zero issues. Cheap and very easy to carry concealed.
After i shot the Stoeger str9 mc and the iwi masada slim I got rid my p365 line of guns and others . And only kept cz p07 pistol , all others sold because cz shares mags with the iwi. Stoeger is owned by beretta, bennelli and is their budget line . Stoeger has amazing good pistols and shotguns that no other manufacturers can match on quality at low prices.
I have 4 micro 9s a SIG P365 - Kimber R7 Mako - Canik MC9 - Stoeger STR 9 MC the Stoeger STR 9 MC has 200 rounds through it and in my experience its a very very good conceal carry option and a cost effective option l love mine so far gun hides handles and shoots well and a joy to shoot enjoyable at the range gun has been rock solid reliable with 115 grain brass FMJs trigger is very good to me not great but pretty good vs other stock triggers seems close to perfect for carry slide fiinsh looks and feels very good and the sights are very very nice in my opinion
After 200 round through it or more the trigger breaks in and is good enough its not going to hinder your accuracy or firing it fast plan on carrying it after 400-500 more rounds have been shot been carrying my MC9 for now
I had the Taurus. It was great, no complaints. I did sell it a while back though because I needed money to fund something else. You can't go wrong with either.
@@exionem I haven't had my Taurus for a while but from what I remember, it was comfortable to shoot and I didn't think it was any more snappy than I would expect. That being said, I think it was very similar to the recoil of the Stoeger. Personally, I like the Stoeger better simply because of the looks. I know some like the looks of the Taurus better but that is my opinion. There are reasons why the Taurus might be better though, more holster options, more people have it (so more people can help you with it), and the magazines are in stock at stores. Both guns have expensive 13-round magazines ($34.99 online) but the Stoeger mags are almost always sold out.
Sorry, the MC9 is a pistol I have not tried yet. I have watched a lot of MC9 videos and I went with the Stoeger because it is the slightest bit thinner and a little less expensive. Based on other videos, the MC9 is a great choice as well.
Oh, I forgot to talk about the trigger. I would describe it as a nice carry trigger. It is not particularly light, but it is what I would like for a carry pistol. Once you hit the wall there is a bit more travel before the click. The reset is very nice though. It has a loud "click" and you can really feel the reset. If I had to guess, it's about a 6lb trigger, I would compare it to the feel of a Glock trigger.
At the time of this video, I had put about 200 rounds through the gun and my friends had put about 200 rounds through the gun. Since then, I have only shot it once and I only went through the two magazines (24 rounds), so no progress has been made on the magazine spring. I could always load it to 11 rounds, but yeah, it is still stiff.
I would compare the recoil to a Glock 43 with the flush fit magazine in it and the Glock 43x with the extended magazine in it. The dimensions of the gun as well as the weight are very similar to Glock 43/43x. I am not a great shot with small pistols like this because I haven't shot them very much. For me, I am as accurate with this gun as I am with other guns this size. I enjoy shooting this more than the Hellcat and the Shield Plus. I think it is because to me it feels like a Glock in my hand and I am used to that. It isn't so snappy that it isn't fun to shoot.
@801guitar3 I'm surprised at that. I have it as well the p365 with Wilson grip and hellcat. By far it is the snappier of the 3 by a bunch. The recoil spring is extra stiff. Racking the slide is way harder. Will that loosen up and it get better I don't know.

The rear sight is steel. It's blacked out and looks very boxy. I prefer no dots on the rear sight, so I am very happy with the look. My STR-9SC has a 3-dot sight and I very much prefer this.
I love the video brother but the way you say glock made me spit out my drink. I’ve never heard “Glock” or “lock” sound like that before. Where are you from? Im hearing some accent I think.

@@stern2701 Oh, no offense taken. Since the video, I have put more rounds through the gun, it has still been reliable, and the 11-round magazine has become a little easier to load to full capacity.
I know it copies a Glock 26 in many ways but l can tell you this go to the gun store see how a Glock 26 feels in your hand and then feel the STR 9 MC and l would think 80 percent or more of people would prefer the STR 9 MC grip over a Glock 26 the STR 9 MC is much much better fitting and feeling in my hand the Glock 26 the grip isn't awful but the STR 9 MC feels much much better in my hands and the trigger is better on the STR 9 MC in my opinion by a little
@@24grizzy l really don't think you'd be disappointed in the way this gun shoots handles and performs and most guns costing more in my experience will not be any better most are not as good l absolutely love my STR-9mc and l have 4 micro 9s including a SIG P365 - Kimber R7 Mako - Canik MC9 - Stoeger STR-9mc it does everything these more expensive guns do

Mine came with 11-round (11+1) and a 13- round (13+1) magazines. You get the 10-round ones if you get it in California or other states that limit the rounds to 10. look at 4:45 and you can see the little hole indicator on the magazine and it is 11 rounds.

Mine was 400.00 but I got the 3 mag , night sight, OR version.
Shoots fantastic,easy to carry and all STR9 mags fit.
I love mine. Love it more than my hellcat. The grip is astounding with the stippling!
Also, the regular str-9 15 rd mags fit and work in the mc! The hold open doesn’t always work tho….

Get a hellcat. Lightest smallest 9mm micro on the market. But has high recoil as tradeoff

I have the 9C and the g3c both my son and I like the 9C more very well made a can’t go wrong accurate gun straight out of the box.

I have the STR-9SC as well. It has the thickness of the Glock 26. I like both of my Stoegers but I like the MC better.

so if your selling me a gun would you recommend this or tell me to spend 150 more bucks and get a glock fn sig etc.
