The current singers at Regine’s age in this performance would probably hit the climax of this song using the now popular mixed register. Some sounded forced, to thin and narrow. Regine however in this performance sang the climax of this song with so much freedom and so wide, with beautiful resonance and with so much ease, using only her chest voice. Again, only her chest voice.
I thought morisete was better than her watching the greatest showdown in asap..And then i realize after watching this. She is just being humble sitting while watching mori trying hard to hit her smooth high notes she can slay back to her times... what a humble regine.

I just compared the concerts back and forth, and her voice sounds better in this earlier one--fuller and less constricted, and perfectly in tune, even blending in with the harmonics of the Instruments at the end. Plus, she didn't do the high note in "then *I'll* know" near the end in the 20 anniversary performance. I just wonder why she changed the wording from what should have been, to be analogous to the original, "What kind of *girl* is this, an empty shell" to "What kind of *mind* is this...". Yes, it keeps the word beginning with an "M", but changes the meaning. Maybe because this version uses "girl" at the end to replace "guy" they didn't want to use it twice, and "woman" wouldn't fit. I don't know.

Morissette, Katrina and Jonalyn actually did give justice sa song na 'to with all that they could, mga anak-anakan sila ni Queen Regine and they wouldn't sing a song by her that would disappoint her. Some fans can be really annoying, "The" Regine Velasquez would never speak bad sa mga singer na inspired by her. Just saying. I don't know where some fans get the audacity to say such awful things (comparing, degrading, etc.) most especially na iilan na lang ang legit na new generation singers sa Pilipinas na ginagawa ang lahat para maiangat ang Philippine Music Industry. Yung mga kino-compare n'yong singer are our fellow-Regine stans. They are also fans basically like us non-singers, so if you can't do any better than them, keep your ugly opinion to yourself :)
