I'm tired of flying with just GPS, and I think flying the way you showed in the video would be much more immersive and improve my navigation skills. Thank you.
Thank you for a beautiful explanation of the process and the SkyVector tip. This type of VFR flying has been on my list for a while and now I'm going to let go of the magenta line at last. 😱
It’s a ton of fun Roger, enjoy it :)
I love your straight forward and detailed explanations. Your videos are very informative and helpful.
Thanks Richard, it’s always nice to hear comments like this since I put a lot of effort into them.
Thank you.
Thanks Mark - very informative. However, I never fly Glass Cockpit aircraft as I am used to Steam Gauges from my old days as a pilot, also I find it difficult reading the letters and numbers on the Glass Cockpit. So is it also possible for you to incorporate Steam Gauges into your video as well? Maybe Steam Gauges with a GTN 750. My preferred method of flying is VFR and very seldom I use Auto Pilot unless it is a very long leg.
One other thing - I agree using SkyVector Nav Log is great, also if you copy paste the route into Little NavMap it does a great job of creating a very useable Nav Log adjusted for wind and if you have added in your aircraft profile it adjusts using the profile data.
Thanks :) I do have a full series on IFR navigation with analog/steam gauges, I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but might be interesting to pick up a new skill: th-cam.com/play/PL6zBzRRsfGL-kCEhUcEJHwuY4JG7KRQcU.html
I will be looking at your IFR as well...🛩️
Great video, what plane are you flying in the video?
It’s the SimWorksStudios Kodiak
Would you be able to share your PC specs? Looks like a pretty beefy setup.
It’s not actually, just an 12th gen i7 with a 3070 and 32 mb of ram
@@FlightSimSchool Cool! Good to know that I don't need a 40xx series card. Also, thanks for all your videos!
I feel like I also noticed some people's videos look much much better than my game even if I max all of the settings 🤔
First 🎉👌🏽🫡👏🏼
