Sarah is on the vlogging hot streak! It is so awesome to see so much content from you. Women CAN bowl PBA tour trials and be members. Men just cant bowl PWBA events. I don't know how you manage to drive SO MUCH.
@TheSarahKlassenChannel you could bowl the pba trials but it cost $250 for ptq and $750 more if you made it out of the ptq...no prize money in the trials except pba tour exemption status!
@@holdenpino prize money but all paid entries for the season, that allows these men to feel a bit more comfortable to make a career out of bowling IMO 😊
I would say yes. The patterns, lane surfaces, and how someone matches up is how someone is successful. Doesn't matter if they're a man or woman. Kelly Kulick, Liz Johnson and Clara Guerrero are a few examples of bowlers that have made shows or won titles on the men's side. My thought is may the best bowler win on any given day. 100% agree Cameron Crowe is a name to watch going forward. Also would say keep an eye on Cortez Schenck and Wesley Low Jr. They also did a lot of great things going back to their youth careers.
I bowl PBA regional events and amateur events in the northwest called the "storm northwest tour" so many talented people on both levels. Also i think the amateur tournaments have tougher oil patterns alot. Usually they are custom patterns. So winning amateur events is a big accomplishment as well.
I bowled Tour Trials in 2006 when Kelly Kulick won an exemption. I remember everyone really was pulling for her to win a spot. Every time she struck, the place erupted. So, yes, women have bowled in the past and should still be allowed to participate if they choose to.
@@PhilDerrup Why is there a PWBA then? Just have the PBA and let everyone give it a shot. You can't make exceptions for just 1 gender. From your biggest fan from Milwaukee on BOWL TV they were talking about ladies bowling the tour trials ANY lady is allowed to bowl TOUR TRIALS the guys in the booth were sayin how much more hard it would be for a lady pro to compete vs all the guys and the REV rates the guys produce just destroy the lanes compared to what the lady pros on how they really don't destroy the lanes as much if that makes sense it kinda did for me i know that ladies can strike but the rev rate factor i think would be hard to over come WISH I WAS THERE had plans for 4 months to attend but came down with COVID for the 1st time recently and physically not up to the long day in the bowling alley and short trip from Milwaukee safe travels bowl great in my home state of Wisconsin
Let me say this, I think the PBA should take over the PWBA, and find a way to make them "tour" together as in same stop/area for each stop. With setting up a tournament of men vs men, women vs women, then those who can make the 2nd cut, a free for all, with there being a possibility of 3 different winners for each stop. This should also make it much easier to get more sponsors and more money in prize pools. Even it would require 2 different bowling centers to make this happen.
I don't know that I'd say "nobody is talking about it" in terms of what Cam is doing. Maybe not at the level of what you hear regarding pro events, but I can tell you I first heard his name at some event about 2+ years ago, and I've probably heard his name mentioned at some point somewhere no less than 100 times since then. I don't know him personally other than having competed in some of the same tournaments, but I know the dude is crazy good, and is on the radar of many. He's coming for more titles, and I don't think he will sneak up on anyone. He might feel like nobody is talking, but people are talking!
Honestly yes I feel women should be allowed to bowl tour trials if they aren’t. In the JPBA Tour trials in all centers they bowl at both men and women bowl at the same time together on the same pairs.
To be honest I think women should have some set aside exemptions that perhaps they compete against each other for. That way you don't limit the mens count and the women can have spots on pba tournaments where they compete against each other for. NOW, I have NO idea how to make that work so . . . Second great job Sarah for stopping in Chicago I mean you are practically right next to WSU (yes, sarcasm)🤑 I do like the content though I follow some of the names you mentioned Brad being the longest. Thanks for giving us the plus numbers to, uh, request, maybe youi could break out your laptop calculator and give us the averages of the top people. That way we get to, kind of, judge relative scoring conditions it didnt seem to be monster scores but i could be wrong. Also, before I get flamed, i don't judge just on scores because i realize the conditions and oiling patterns are MUCH more challenging than a house shot.
Women can bowl, this is not a debate or controversial. They just have to buy a card like everyone else in the field, and no one would be mad about it. The guys beat the girls every year at the luci, and just like they did in Jonesboro
I can't find anywhere in the rule book that states that women are not allowed to be on the PBA tour. I do think that the competition will be difficult, as it is already really hard, for a woman to break into the PBA. I have seen other competitions where there are both men and women playing together. I don't think it is impossible by any means for women to win PBA titles. I just know that the way men throw the bowling ball is a lot different than the women and it will definitely change the lanes in different ways. This is similar to any other professional sport that men play, that also has a women's league too. The women, if they can make it into the men teams, they will absolutely be celebrated. As long as they are there because of their achievements and not because of some other reason (like because the PR would be good). The men sports like baseball, football, basketball don't say that women can't play in the leagues. It is not the same for men in women's leagues, but I think that is for good reason.

They're guaranteed spots for the majors and have priority entry for some of the events because they're past winners. I'm not 100% on the full rules though.
Saying Cam is crushing it is interesting. As hard as he was throwing in the first set a lot of pins must have felt crushed. They were exploding for him.

Yes, I believe women can bowl and do currently bowl in PBA events. I think the biggest reason why you don't see any women bowling the trails is partly financial. Unless a person is going to bowl the whole PBA season, there would be no financial reason to do it.
Can men compete on the women’s tour? Can women compete in the NBA? I don’t think there is an answer but a matter of which environment can a bowler compete in and do well. Where do they shine the most.
