Nice and calm video to watch. I appreciate your job of commenting this amazing event in english. Ive done it 5 times and i'm doing it for around 7 hours and i'm pretty familiar with the course. The only remark i need to point is that your slope gauge is completely wrong. At Boyana the average slope is 5% and once you hit the forest it climbs to 7%. There are places with above 10% slope.

Thanks. Slope is measured by the camera or the phone I’m not sure but it looks funny to me too 😅 I just put it for symmetry with the speed one.

Adash, 4 liters of water for V100 is way 2 much. Both for biking and running.
I did the duathlon with 1 bottle of 800ml on the frame and then in my hands.
You will take out a lot of weight and you will feel the difference. Always skip the first aid station and ride straight to the second one. There just fill to top and to the next one.
Your max should be ... 1.5l. use 2 bottles, one big for the water and one small for the electrolytes.
I would avoid the bag in a race because to re-fill it you spend a lot more time than to open the bottle cap. Dont be afraid to go with less water. Just remember, when you see free water always make sure to fill your bottles to the top. Always use "soft" bottles, one you can squizz to create pressure. With this you can clear your gears from mud.
The night before the race put both botles of water inside the fridge to get frozen. You will enjoy it :)

I don’t like cold water. I had 3 liters capacity but I didn’t use the 1 liter bottle. And I lost it at the end 😅 next year I will do better prep. Most time that I lost was on the traffic jams at the start. Next year I will push harder from the start because I was trying to preserve my energy for the end.

@@NikolaTubeNikolov yep, the traffic jam is the deal braker. The problem is too much people that have powers for 30km only hahahha are pushing harder and then they are dead on the single and not brave enough or expirienced enough to make fast downhills lets say. How can you break before each mud or puddle on the ground causing collisions. Whatever. Next year again. Make a good strategy!
